Marin felt the night air brush against her face as she stepped out onto the porch. The woods surrounding the premises were surprisingly calm, and the neighbors seemed to be fast asleep. Unnerved and cold, Merin decided to investigate around her house as soon as possible. The grass felt cold against the side of her feat that were exposed, and the air became increasingly colder as if something was silently urging her to go back inside her cabin. After what felt like a century, Marin had finally checked every part of the cabin and was heading back inside the cabin until she heard the sound of rustling in the bushes by her cabin's entrance. Marin walked cautiously to the bushes, and quickly pulled back the bushes to reveal- nothing, nothing except a hole, the size of a human that was dug out in the siding of her house. "What is this?" Marin said while inspecting the hole in the side of her house. "There's only one way to find out." and she crawled in the hole in her house.
