Part 73

I woke up the next morning with Ruby clutched onto me. I chuckled at the sight. 

Last night she begged me to sleep over because she wanted a companion that night. It was already late, and it didn't hurt to stay so I agreed and we went to bed. 

I glanced over at the clock it was almost noon. It didn't surprise me since we probably slept at 5 or 6 last night.. 

Suddenly, I heard a groan from her. She rubs her eyes as she tries to adjust to the light as she sat up. 

"Good morning- or afternoon" I chuckled. 

She stares at me for a bit before breaking into a smile. "You're morning raspy voice sounds.."

"Sounds?"

"Beautiful" she shyly admits. "You should stay over more often. I haven't had a good night sleep until last night" she yawns and stretches her arms. 

I giggle. "You're hair is so messy" I ruffle her already messy locks. 

"You're only making it messier!" she groans and combs her hair with her fingers in attempt of making them look nicer. 

I pull her hand down. "You don't need to do that. I like your messy morning state."

"You're making me blush" she rolls her eyes. 

I chuckle and pull her towards me so she lays back down. "Let's stay like this for a while."

"But it's already super late!"

"And? It's not like you have anything to do today."

"Fine" she smiles and wraps her arms around me. We stayed in each others comfortable silence, the only sounds in the room were our beaming heartbeats before we fell asleep again.
