"Why do secret science bases have to be so freaking well guarded?" I yelled after almost getting spotted for the sixteenth time in five minutes.
I was sure that we'd been safe, only to find another bunch of them lurking on the other side of the hall. The place was a death trap!
Eventually, we just about managed a perimeter sweep if the area and I could conclude that there was
no easy way out of this one. What I wouldn't give for the easy way...
"Ok, now time for a closer look of some things that I've noticed that we might be able to tamper with," I sugested. So we go back. And it crossed my mind that, maybe, we wouldn't be getting out today
"What do you do for food?" I blurted out after silently thinking it for some time.
"Lucky for us, we have a suplier." Clare said, wrinkling her brow. I waited for her to continue, but she had stopped abruptly and I decided it was best not to push her; I had already been mean enough.
We were turning the corner when I slipped and stumbled, losing my balance, and grabbed at the nearest thing to me, which happened to be the wall (surprise, surprise). What I wasn't expecting, though, was for the wall to swing open like a door. And standing in the cupboard-sized room was none other than my good friend 'just Bennidict'.
Then he starts mumbling. "You're not safe here, you've got to go!" Well, yeah, I realised we're not safe. It doesn't take a genius to work that out, but what else?
"You don't wan't to go back," a level of insanity rised in his voice. He was panicing. "You don't want to go back there. You won't want to, just listen to me!" He yelled.
"Ok, ok, calm down!" I tried to shut him up before he attracted some unwanted atention, but, with my luck, I guessed the whole building would be over there in a minute. "I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE, OK?" I screamed at him, and he was finally quiet. But finally was too late. A bunch of white-coats were racing down the corridors. I could just hear their footsteps.
