I can definitely do better, I know I can. Gail's kestals are at least this good, Professor Osborn will probably just smash it again tomorrow. I need to think about what he said. 'Hold the structure in your mind, something strong and personal, then let it be." Strong and personal, strong and personal, god what does that even mean. Squares are strong, triangles, bees seem to like hexagons, how is any of that personally?
"Shonta."
"Ya, yes, what?"
"You're, daydreaming again."
"Oh, ya, sorry Sarah."
"It's Sydney."
"Ya, I'm Sarah."
"Sorry guys, I'll get it." Why did I have to room with twins? Seriously how is that fair. I can barely keep regular people straight, but doppelgangers. That was probably too mean, right? I mean they've got to have their own problems about it. Rooming with each other, a stranger, I'm like a third wheel it's gotta be weird right.
"Shonta!"
"My bad... Sydney. Oh no, you're Sarah right."
"No, it's Sydney, she's Sarah."
"Right," Sydney and Sarah Goldman, super nice I guess, and not hard to get along with, but they're always... On.
"So, Sarah are you excited for the new school year?" Sydney asked.
"Not as excited as I am for the new boys." Sarah bubbled.
"O.m.g you're so bad, Sarah. Seriously, though."
"Oh, I'm so excited, Sydney. It's going to be so much living with you and.. Shonta?"
"Yes, I'm like totally excited to be living with you guys too." I'm in hell. Someone, anyone if you can read minds, shoot me. Shoot me and never stop shooting me.
"And the boys?"
"Sarah!" Sydney nudged her jokingly.
"Oh, ya, the boys. Will be like major cute, so funny." Gun, me, bullet now.
"Wait up you little flirt." Sarah... I think, interrupted me as they both leaned in close. "You've been talking to the boys already."
"Do tell." the other one added.
"Um, well, I ran into this guy during orientation." Literally, I literally ran right into him.
"Come on deets, details, what's the dirt?"
"He, um joked around for a little bit," a real little bit. "Said I was interesting," well my name, he said I was weird. "Told me about how he got here," through a portal. "And I may have told him I was single," purely out of awkwardness.
"Shut up, no way. Sydney did you hear that?"
"Yes, I did hear it Sarah, who knew our new roomie was so bold."
"I never would have guessed it."
"Me neither." Didn't she just ask the question? "Ok, you definitely need to point him out."
"Like most definitely."
"Ok, he was in homeroom, I think his name was Davis or David."
"See that Sarah, new roomies such a huntress she can't even remember all their names."
"I like it. Do you remember his face point him out."
I looked around the lunchroom, but I couldn't see him. There were a lot of people, so it wasn't that odd, but come to think of it, I haven't seen him since homeroom. "I don't actually see him." I wonder if he was ok.
