"Well, he does. But I haven't seen him for a few days and I'm scared I've scared him off."

"What'd you do, kid?"

"Kissed him."

"You've got balls, I'll admit. Well, this ain't my area of expertise, so I'm afraid I can't help you much. Would suggest looking for him, but if he doesn't want to be found, he doesn't want to. The kid's probably overthinking things, he does that."

"Could you tell him I'm looking for him?"

"I don't wanna get mixed in your problems, kiddos. Just gonna calmly walk away and let you deal with it yourselves."

"What do you want with him?"

"No need to get so defensive, he's my friend."

"He's never mentioned having a new friend before."

"Great to see he talks about me..."

"Eh, it's how he is. Closed-off - more than the rest of us, at least. So, why are you looking for him?"

"I want to talk to him."

"It's getting late. You should head home - Red's not showing before he finishes his side of town, so you're not in luck. I'll pass along your message..."

"Pleasure to meet you, Rita. I'll make sure he talks to you before the week's end."
