"Love is something sent from heaven to worry the hell out of you."
-Dolly PartonMARTIN'S POV
"Cheers buddy", Jake rejoiced, clinking glasses. I simply smirked and quaffed my whiskey.
"Who was that sexy-little-feisty you were arguing with like a married couple?"
"None of your business."
"Is it so?"
I glared him. He was playing with my patience. Today was the day when I lost her and he knew it would rile me up!
*Flashback*
"Elsa, my skates, where are you taking them?", a small boy- with blue eyes, brown hair and a cute smile- whined.
The little girl- with a sweet smile, blonde hair, cute dimples and eyes with a darker shade of blue than the small boy- grinned.
"Momma see Elsa is not giving me my roller skates. I wanna go outside and skate", complained he.
The little girl hid behind the lady and asked for a treat in return, to the boy. The lady summoned both the children and gave 'em ice-creams.
"Martin, Elsa is a guest here so you'll treat her with respect."
"But she's annoying, I don't want to talk with her again."
The lady combed his hair and kissed his forehead saying, "My boy, friendship is a gift not bestowed upon many, you are a lucky person to have this little naughty princess in your life. Treasure your gift and protect it always."
That day, the definition of friendship changed for me. Little did I know that someday I'll fall in love with this beautiful girl only to lose her forever.
"Yes, it is so. Neither my past nor my present is any of your business."
"Fair enough. But she doesn't want you anymore not after how you just treated her."
"Who the hell are we talking about?"
"Of course not Elsa."
I grasped the glass tightly.
"Be lucky, I was drunk when I told you about her or else...
"...Or else? What? You'd have beaten the shit outta me?" He smirked. "Listen mate Elsa is a gone case, I sure as hell am speaking about that blonde girl with a fiesty attitude. Whatever you had with your girl, is past...But what you're gonna have with this girl is present which is definitely my business."
"And why would that be?", I asked cautiously raising an eyebrow.
"That's only for me to know", he gave me a crooked smile and went on his way to be the attention seeker that he is. Such an ass!

LEXI'S POV
The long corridor was dimly lit. The air was cold and bleak. I have never been out, so late, at night. Glancing at the moon, in the dark sky, which is glowing so bright, with a shine, my heart warmed and I sigh!
Still, even the moon has its hidden secrets. It only shows its bright side and hides the dark ones, the ones which it is afraid to show the world for they may not accept it. Therefore, only once a month it shows its full face, with a hope that there may be someone who'll fall in love with it again.
