"Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts."
                    -Paramahansa Yogananda

JAKE'S POV

God knows I'd have done anything for this girl, only if she would have accepted my proposal then.

When I try to find her eyes, I end up glaring at Martin. I am astonished at how these two always end up butting heads but this time it's different, this time Alexa- the queen of straightforwardness- ends up tight lipped.

Martin has left yet Alexa is staring vaguely towards the now empty place where my friend had been standing. I approach her.

"Hey, Alexa that was a great shot." Maybe she wasn't expecting me for she startled when I tapped her shoulder.

"What was that?", she held her head with her hand and seemed distressed. "I am sorry, I just got carried away with something. What were you saying?"

"Is there any problem? You know you can share it with me." I genuinely was concerned for her.

She just shook her head, untied her pony tail and went back to the changing room to remove the cleats.

When she returned, I couldn't help but ask her, I had to. She was there standing, with her bag on one shoulder and water bottle in the other hand. She was leaving, without a goodbye, that is when I called her name.

"Yeah."

"I had to ask you something." I was afraid what if she denied me.

"Feel free."

"So did I have the previledge to earn the fiesty's friendship?", I completed with a smirk.

She smiled, a simple-genuine simle- oh! how her simple things make me feel the complex of feelings and makes me go through the roller coaster ride once again. Ugh, focus Jacob focus, you cannot lose this time, you know how it works and you ain't here to become a prey.

In her ever so Fiesty-Lexi way she spoke," The moment I agreed upon ditching the class, you did a +1 in your list of friends."

She left me all alone in the football pitch but I was no more lone, for she had left me with a bunch of memories and a stupid grin that was now creeping on my face.

Oh, how I loved this girl so much!

MARTIN'S POV

"Fuck", I donno for how long I have been holding my breath- I seriously would have died if I had a poor stamina- jokes apart, she took my breath away when she said that she was imagining me while kicking the football. Man! Her hatred was reflecting straight through her eyes.

The fire that I saw in her eyes encouraged me to say those bitter words. Alex- she drives me crazy. She makes me forget the world even if it's just for a fraction of second. Her cerulean blue eyes, reminds me of my lost love but her personality is just opposite of Elsa. Alex is fiesty, strong-headed, rebel, bold and challenging while my Elsa was sweet, simple, a bit naughty, more like a breath of fresh air. Alex is like the scent of wet earth- the one which accompanies you when you are broke and get soaked in rain.

"Hey Hottie, guess who I am?" Two cold hands wrapped my eyes from behind, interrupting my thought processses. I touch her hands and feel it. I'll never understand girls and their weird obsession with big nails.

"Don't you recognise my voice or even my hands which gave you one of your best orgasms", her voice seemed sad with my inability to know her name but trust me, how I am supposed to remember the name of each and every girl I sleep with.
