"Love you Ama, call again soon" I hang up the call, finally feeling happier about my baby girl being away from us. The events of the last few months had shocked the whole family and made us all very protective of our only daughter.
I know Knox was primarily working with Uncle on finding out everyone who came into contact with Amalie at the event. Kade and Kier and the triplets were also investigating but alongside their other work, and I knew it wouldn't be long before they tracked the scumbag down, and then they would pay for what they did to our baby.
Amalie had been telling me about her first week with Lucy and Paul and I was glad she had taken the opportunity, she was sounding more like herself, at home she had been hiding from everyone.
I recalled her comments about the two athletes she met today and smile softly, hoping that meetings like that would build her confidence, allowing her to trust again.
I head towards the study to find my husbands, keen to tell them about Ama's call and to see if they have any news.
