"Do you think she's okay?" I ask Paul for the tenth time.
"Lu, give her a call if you're worried but despite everything that has happened to her Amalie is strong, I think the boys will have met their match in her, if they don't do anything too stupid" he replies.

"I can't, I don't want her to think I'm checking up on her" I whine and this time Paul catches my hand, pulling me down into his lap.
"Relax, I've got no doubt that Teddy will check up on them tomorrow and it wouldn't surprise me if the Masters men check in with Amalie, if anything's wrong they will let us know" he says, sliding his hand under my top and across my stomach.

"Are you trying to distract me?" I question him with a grin.
"Is it working?" he replies, nibbling my neck.
"God yes, you win, distract me more" I tell him, focusing on Paul and forgetting about everything else till morning.

I wait till mid morning before giving in and calling Teddy.
"Bet its been driving you crazy" she laughs at me, knowing me too well.
"Well?" I ask.
"I am happy to say, my boys seem to be behaving themselves, they are currently doing their talk with the rowing club juniors and following Amalie's instructions"
"What talk? Is she okay?"
"I haven't spoken to her yet, I arrived after they had started, I went to the hotel first and was told they were here, did you not know she had organised this, she's got the press watching and its really positive PR" Teddy praises.

"No, I told her to do what felt right and left it to her to decide, I wanted to give her the chance to prove herself.  And the boys?"
"Its early yet but they seem to be behaving and Amalie looks quite relaxed" Teddy says.
"Can you send me a picture?" I ask, wanting to see it for myself.

"Will do, now stop worrying and I'll call you later once I've spoken to Amalie" Teddy laughs as we say goodbye.
I rush off to find Paul and tell him the news, feeling proud of Amalie for managing so far.

Its late evening before Teddy calls me again and she's amazed by the boys behaviour with Amalie, and very impressed with the PR, Amalie organised.

"Its like little boys wanting praise from the teacher, they won their races and then gave out the prizes for the junior races, the kids couldn't believe it, and the press team were also taken with Amalie, she's a natural at this" Teddy said and I laughed.

"Well, they can't have her, she my assistant.  But I am glad she is doing so well, I had worried that being out there would bring back bad memories of what happened to her, but she seems to be thriving on the challenge" I reply.

"Did you know she even changed the hotel booking and put them in the same room... and they stayed there" Teddy whispers and I can hear her husbands voices in the background before she laughs at something they say and rings off with a goodbye.

I sit back and relax a little, glad that Amalie had done so well with the twins and I wondered what she would tell me on Monday in the office.  Maybe we had a secret weapon to keep the boys on track.

"Whats put that satisfied grin on your face?" Paul asks coming to sit next to me.
"Nothing, just Teddy giving me some feedback, you were right, she managed them very well"

"Should we assign her the boys then?" Paul queried but I shook my head.
"No, I've managed to get Paul Brown lined up to take them on, Amalie is proving to be a huge asset in the office and I've given her some charity work to do, aside from the fact the Masters are still investigating her attack and I would rather keep her in the office, till that's all sorted"

"And if they run him off" Paul warns.
"Then we will find someone else" I reply easily.
"Why do I think there's something you're not telling me" he asked suspiciously and I grinned at him.
"Darling, trust me, if you needed to know I would tell you" I say, curling up into his arms as he huffs at my words.

"Don't go interfering, I swear since Lily moved in with the boys, you and Teddy have been maniacs" he groans and I grin to myself as I think of our daughter and Teddy's oldest boys.

"I'm going to tell her you called us maniacs" I threaten teasingly and he shakes his head in mock horror.
"Oh, I'm terrified, but you know it's true" he laughs and I have to agree, but it will be interesting to see what happens.
