Marceline's POV (Point of view)

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

"Ugggghhhh" I mumbled while searching for the source of the sound. I rolled to my side until the bed suddenly disappeared below me and had been replaced with my hard, wooden floor.

"SHIT!" I cussed.The fall made the right side of my face ache with pain.

I slowly picked myself up off the floor and floated groggily to my bathroom mirror. I pushed my long, jet black hair to the side and examined my face. The pale blue skin around my cheek started to darken. "Hmm, that'll leave a mark." I muttered. Luckily, being a vampire would speed up the process.I let my hair fall back onto my face and floated towards my dresser.

I slipped on some ripped black jeans and pulled over a red sweater with a black heart. My stomach rumbled with hunger, so I floated downstairs.

"Let's see." I said while opening the fridge.

Nothing but a small bowl of cherries sat in the middle. Great, now I had to go grocery shopping. I could ask Tree Trunks for some apples, but I wasn't that close to her.

I grabbed the bowl and a pack of ice for my face. Maybe ice would speed up my healing even faster. I clicked on the TV to see if anything was on. The only thing good was an action movie. "Close enough." I said while sucking the ruby color out of a cherry.

After I had sucked the "life" out of the bowl of cherries, the pack of ice had become a slush. So I threw it away, then checked my face in the mirror and noticed the purple had started to fade away. Vampire powers, it helps you know. I tied some black converse on, grabbed my phone, keys, wallet, and especially my umbrella, and flew out of my cave towards the Candy Kingdom.
