Breakthrough

Princess Bubblegum's POV

I've spent three whole days in my lab. I swear on my grave that I am close to a breakthrough! Ever since I first heard about the possibility of a parallel universe, I've isolated myself in my lab.

"Hmm, maybe if I just..." I mixed two chemicals together in a beaker.

"PRINCESS! I NEED TO BORROW YOUR FOOD!" Lsp barged through my lab doors, not looking where she was floating and bumped into me!

The beaker flew from my hands and crashed into a mirror.

"Lsp! Now all my effort and work is ruined! Why can't you be more careful!" I raged.

"Hey, don't be such a sassy sissy about this. I was just asking for food." Lsp retorted. Sometimes, she can just annoy the crap out of me.

I grumbled to myself and started to pick up my papers that were scattered all around the floor. She didn't even bother to help because she was so busy texting and fixing herself in the chemical-splashed mirror.

"Whoa. Like, where did you get this rad mirror PB. It's like, totally glowing and stuff." Lsp said.

"Wait. glowing mirror?" I asked and spun around to look at Lsp and the mirror. It emitted a green glow.

"Can I keep this? It, like totally shows off my sexy lumps." She boasted.

Then, a cold wind started to blow. The source of the wind came from the mirror.

"Lsp, back away from the mirror." I warned her. The wind strengthened. "Lsp get away!" I yelled and crouched behind a table. Oh great, she was frozen with fear. I sprinted to her, grabbing her around the torso and tried to run towards the lab doors. The wind pulled us away, but I managed to grip the door handle.

"AAAAAAAH! DON'T LET ME GO!" Lsp shrieked as we were lifted off our feet.

"Lsp! Push that red button!" I yelled frantically while she was cussing her heart out. The button was a distress call to Marceline, Finn, Jake, and Flame Princess. Now, all we could do was wait for help and hope that I could hold on. This was not the breakthrough I was expecting.
