Marceline's POV

The Candy Kingdom was bustling with candy citizens. Some stared and trembled in fear at me. Probably because they thought I would suck the red hues out of their faces. But seriously, vampires will never hurt you. Unless you'd give us a reason to. 

"Apples, apples, apples." I muttered looking for the apple vendor. My sharp vampire vision quickly spotted the cart overfilled with crisp, red apples.

I floated over and bought at least twenty. Another cart sold strawberries where I bought five cartons. 

I sucked on an apple and started to fly back home when a certain bear hat wearing human, followed by a yellow, stretchy dog dashed over to me.

"YO! Marcy!" Finn wheezed completely out of breath. "PB...is...in...trouble." Jake breathed.

"What! Let's go!" I dropped my groceries, grabbed Finn and Jake, then flew towards her castle.

     I just patched up my relationship with her. We just became the best of friends. It sounds corny but it's true. And, she is technically my only friend that's a girl. I need to help her.
