Chapter 6~Suspicious?

A/N~Sorry this chapter was late, I had some problems with it, but finally got it to how I wanted lol

Shuichi's POV:

~The Next Day~

"Okay Gonta~ You stay here with these guys and show them how amaaaaazing bugs are~!" I say with Kokichi's signature laugh. Gonta nods happily, letting me leave his lab.

I let out a breath. Man...I'm so glad I'm not in my body right now...I had Gonta kidnap some of the students, so I could figure out something Kokichi wrote on his whiteboard. Gonta specifically wanted to bring 'Shuichi' since he wanted me to appreciate bugs more...I guess you could say this is somewhat payback for the whole 'squished bugs' thing, but I'll make it up to Kokichi later...since I didn't mean to get him involved with that. Anyways, he put 'Suspicious' by Maki's name, but I'm not sure why...so maybe if I got her motive video, it would help explain his suspicion towards her.

As I'm walking down the hallways, I'm looking around for where Maki could be. Around the corner, I notice her talking with...Ryoma? This is kinda confusing...I watch as they exchange motive videos. Wait, so they had each other's videos? Maybe I could get Ryoma to tell me what hers was...

I wait a while longer until they part ways. Once Maki is out of sight, I catch up with Ryoma, "Hiya Mr. Tennis Pro~ Whatcha doin~?" I say with a grin. He glances over at me, then glances back at his monopad, "Nothing important..." he says, sounding emotionless. Huh...he sounds kinda upset...I'd ask him what's wrong, but I'm Kokichi...

I sigh some to myself and smile, "I saw you and Maki earlier~" I say, making him stop. "You heard everything." He says coldly. Woah...that's...unnerving...but I went ahead and played along. "Yep~ I totally heard you two~" I say with a slight laugh, "I even saw you exchange videos~"

Ryoma sighs some, "Yea...her video made sense for an Ultimate Caregiver, but...it's not even her real talent..." he says, looking down at his monopad, "Though...I wish my video would have said something better..." he grips it tightly. Wait...so she's not the Ultimate Caregiver...? What is she...?

"Ooooooo So Maki actually did hide her real talent, I wonder why~?" I say with a slight laugh. Ryoma rolls his eyes and looks over at me, "If people knew what her real talent was...they would most likely try and lock her up...so she wouldn't kill anyone." He says as he walks away. Huh...? Her talent involves killing?! So...he's meaning that she's dangerous...?

I was gonna say something else to him until he stopped, turning his head towards me, "I'd suggest that you keep quiet about what you now know about her...I wouldn't want to get on the bad side of the Ultimate Assassin..." he says, turning back and walking away. An Assassin...now I get why Kokichi was so suspicious of her! It's because of his whole view towards killing...it would make since for him to hate her because of that...well...I'm glad I know now, maybe I'll tell Kokichi about what I found...let him know that he was right...I sigh some. Maybe another time...really I should talk with him about his motive video...

When I started walking back to Gonta's lab, I ended up running into Kirumi. As much as I liked talking to her, I had to hurry and get the others out of his lab. I told her to try and catch me...I'm not sure why, but it was the only thing I could think of to distract her. It was...kinda fun...~ It felt like we were playing tag...~ Even though it was fun, it ended up getting weird when I saw a girl half naked outside. I had a strong feeling that I knew who it was, but I'm not gonna pay attention to that right now.

Once she finally caught me, it got pretty late...I quickly went over to Gonta's room and knocked on the door. Hopefully everyone survived being in there...

Kokichi's POV:

I. FUCKING. HATE. BUGS!!! This is probably the worst day I've had in a long time! First I wake up sore from Kaitos workouts, then all of a sudden I'm knocked out by Gonta and put in this room! And who told him to do this you may ask...? SHUICHI!! Why did he want Gonta to do this...? I have no idea!! At least it wasn't just me in here...I'd probably go insane. There were some funny moments though, like Himiko getting buried by bugs~! I wanted to laugh so bad when I just saw her leg sticking out~ Now though...I just want out of here...

After a while I hear a knock on Gonta's door. It must be Shuichi...Finally!! I watch as Gonta opens the door, revealing my body standing there, "Nishishi~ Hiya guys~! Did ya have fuuuun~?" He asks with a grin. I glare at Shuichi, making him giggle some, "Looks like some of you guys are angry at little ol me~" he says with a bright smile. No duh idiot...you think people will like you after doing a stunt like this...?

"Nishishi~ I think this bug party is over~" Shuichi says, skipping out of the room. Once he leaves, I quickly run out of Gonta's lab and to Shuichi's room...there's no way I'm staying in there any longer...I take deep breaths. Man...I'm exhausted...how long were we in there...? Oh well...maybe I'll just...lay down for a moment...I slip into Shuichis bed, falling asleep not that long afterwards. I guess I'll talk to Shuichi tomorrow...

Shuichi's POV:

Now that this whole ordeal is over, I need to look for Kokichi...but first, I need to get something for him. Before I start to look for him I decide to go ahead and grab a Panta from the kitchen. This is probably the best way I can apologize...I know he's not a fan of bugs. That's one lie I can see through...one out of many...I could tell every time Gonta talked about them that he looked uncomfortable. Though...it was kinda his fault for telling Gonta I squished his bugs...if he wouldn't have said that, Gonta would've left myself out of the bug meet and greet and Kokichi wouldn't have had to go through that...Oh well...

It took a little while, but thanks to me once again bumping into Kirumi, I figured out where Kokichi was...~ This time though...she was kinda acting strange...but I shrugged it off and headed to where he was...which was my room. Once I get there I knock on my door, unfortunately not getting a response. I knocked a couple more times, getting the same result, which was a bit frustrating. I ultimately decided to pick the lock, which was something I learned how to do a while back...I knew it would come in handy again.

Once I got the door open I walked inside, closing the door behind me. "Kokichi...?" I look around my room, eventually seeing that he's...asleep...maybe doing this was a bad idea...I was about to turn around, until I hear a slight whimper coming from his direction. I turned to see myself...whimpering...with slight tears on my face. This is so weird...I know I've seen my crying face in a mirror, but seeing it through someone else's eyes...it gives you an odd feeling.

I sigh and walk back towards my bed, sitting in a chair next to it. I wonder what he's dreaming about...I hesitantly reach over and stroke my hair, watching as the whimper turns into a small smile. I laugh a bit to myself. I'm glad that helped some...~ I pulled away my hand, sat the Panta down on my side table, and got up to leave. I guess...I'll talk to him tomorrow then...

As I walk away, I hear him mumble something. It kinda sounded like...my name...but that wouldn't make sense, why would he dream about me...? I know he didn't wake up at all so that option for him mumbling my name is out of the question...maybe I just misheard him...? I shrugged it off, walking out of my room and back to his. Once inside. I flop onto his bed. Today actually took a lot out of me...especially because of Kirumi chasing me...maybe tomorrow will be a more relaxing day...~ I hope so...
