Chapter 11~Kidnapped

Shuichi's POV:

I quickly open Kokichi's door and rush inside, sliding against the door as I cover my face. Why did I say it like that?! It sounded more like a flirt then a normal response...Ugh he's gonna think I'm weird! After a bit, I stand back up and walk over to his bed, laying down with a slight sigh. Oh well...I don't really care...tomorrow...I'm gonna tell him how I feel...~

I've already accepted at this point that...I'm falling for him...~ I realized it before...I was nearly killed by Miu. He was...the one person I thought about, besides my uncle, before I was about to be killed. I've...never thought about anyone else before. I thought about the fun he and I had...getting to know each other...hanging out together...I loved it...~ I need to express my true feelings...I wonder if...he'd feel the same. I don't know...who would fall for a broken mess like me...

Before I could fall asleep, I feel something hard hit me in the head. What...was that...? I see a dark shadow hovering over me before my eyes fade to black. After a while I wake up, but I'm laying on the floor and I'm...not in Kokichi's room. I look around to see that...I'm in a bathroom? I'm so confused...this isn't like the bathroom in Kokichi's room...I sit up and wince some. My head hurts...I touch my head, feeling a cut that was left by the object I was hit with. What's going on...?

I jump a little when I hear the door open. I'm afraid to look, but I need to know who kidnapped me...I hesitantly look over, my eyes widening in fear and shock. It wasn't just because my kidnapper was holding...what looked to be a crossbow, but because of...who it was...

Kokichi's POV:

"Do you really have a cool secret organization~?" The young Shuichi asked, making me laugh. "Well...it's more like a fun group with just ten people plus me...~ We like to pull pranks and have fun...~" I say with a smile. He hugs my arm, his eyes lit up happily, "Can I join~? I want to have fun like you~" he says, making me blush. Ugh! Why does he have to be so adorable! Get it together Kokichi, this is a young version of Shuichi, he's just a kid.

"Sure you can~" I say with a slight laugh. He lets my arm go and smiles some, but then suddenly changes to a more fearful look, "S-Something's wrong..." I give him surprised and confused look, noticing that the white room were in is turning black. What's happening?!

"K-Kokichi...I-I'm scared..." Shuichi says, hugging his knees. I notice something forming on his forehead, it looks like...a cut? "Your bleeding! What happened? What's going on?!" I say with a panic, putting a hand on his face. He blushes some, but starts crying, "Save me...please..." I watch as he completely disappears.

"SHUICHI!" I say aloud as I quickly sit up in his bed. I look around, seeing his normal room. What was that...?! I've...never had a Shuichi dream end like that...I quickly get up and get dressed, rushing out of Shuichi's room. I nearly ran over Himiko as I rushed out of it, I didn't bother stopping to apologize or anything...I needed to hurry and get to my room. I mean...that couldn't have been real...it was...just a dream...right..? It had to be...

Once I got there, I noticed that...the door wasn't closed all the way. No...it...it can't be! I quickly open it, looking around my room. It's...empty. "Shuichi!" I call out as I walk inside. My eyes instantly fall to the bed, making me go pale. There's...blood on my pillow...I walk over to it. It's fresh...maybe it's...from that cut that was on young Shuichi's forehead...I start to panic. Who would...want to take him...? I look down some. Shuichi...

I'm snapped out of my thoughts when Himiko bursts into the room, "Kokichi...what's wrong...?" She asks, sounding concerned, making me turn around, "S-Shuichi's been taken...and I think he's hurt too..." I say, starting to feel upset. Himiko rushes to my side, her eyes widening when she sees the blood on my pillow, "This is bad..." she says, quickly walking away and out of my room. "I know! Shuichi is in danger...we have to find him!" I say, following her out. "No...you don't understand...if he dies...while still in your body..." she looks down some, "You'll never change back...you'll be in his body forever..." she says, making my eyes widen.

"You mean...he'll actually die...? Not me...? And...I keep his body...?" I ask, making her nod. No...I...I can't let him die! I can't...he needs to live...he needs to...see his uncle again. I ball up my fists, feeling a mix of sadness and anger. Whoever did this...is gonna regret it...I take a breath and look at Himiko, "We have to tell the others..." I say in a serious tone, starting to walk towards the dining room.

Himiko follows behind, quickly catching up to me, "Kokichi...do you...like Shuichi...?" She asks as we stop in front of the doors. I feel my face heat up some, but I stay silent, "You do...don't you...?" she asks, smiling some. I sigh a little, looking back at her, "Himiko...I care so much about him...more then I've ever cared about another person in my life..." I turn back to the doors, "When I find him...I'll... finally tell him that..." I say as I open them, leaving Himiko speechless.

Once I walk into the cafeteria, I notice a certain someone missing. I had my suspicions while I was walking over here, but...I didn't think he would actually go this far...he really is an idiot...

Shuichi's POV:

Why...why would he do this to me...? I thought...we were friends...I shake my head and lay it on my knees. He just believes that I'm Kokichi...if he knew I was the real Shuichi, I'm sure he would let me go...I sigh some. I wonder if...the others noticed that...I've gone missing. I'm sure Kokichi has...

After a little while, the bathroom door opens again, my captor walking inside. He left for a little while to go do something...I'm not sure what though...probably to meet up with the others so he won't seem suspicious. He walks over and stands before me, starring me down. I never thought that...of all people...Kaito would scare me. It doesn't help that he has a weapon close by...he said that...if I tried to escape, he would shoot me with it...

He picks me up by my shirt, startling me some, "I know that your lying to everyone Kokichi...you can't hide it from me and Maki roll!" Kaito says with a glare. I see...so Maki is in on it too...probably because of the whole motive video incident. "Kaito, you have to listen to me...I'm not actually Kokichi...I swear..." I say, making him punch me. "Why do you keep lying?! Why can't you just tell us all the truth!?" He says with a slight growl as he forcibly throws me back down to the ground.

I put my hand on my cheek tearing up some, "But...I am..." I say, with a bit of sadness in my voice, "I swear..." Kaito looks at me, a bit confused by my reaction, but he shakes it off and continues to interrogate me, "I don't get why you have to lie to everyone...do you do it for attention...? Because you want to...? Why?! Are asking for people to hate you?! No one would ever like a lier like you!" he says, making me feel a bit frustrated.

"You have no idea what Kokichi has gone through! If you knew, you would understand!" Kaito looks at me surprised, "And your wrong about no one liking him!" I say as I stand up. Kaito pulls out his crossbow, making me freeze. "Please Kaito...don't...shoot me..." I say as I walk a bit closer, "Just hand it over to me...you don't want to do this..."

Kaito points it at me, making me stop, "Don't even think about trying anything...I will kill you." He says in a serious tone. My eyes widen, tearing up some, "What...happened to you...? What happened to the amazing and admirable Kaito Mamota...Luminary of the Stars...?" I say, making Kaito grip the crossbow tighter. "Shut up." he says, feeling frustrated. "The one I looked up to...the one who was...my best friend..." I say as I walk a bit closer.

He growls and shakes his head, "SHUT UP!! Your not Shuichi and your not my best friend! QUIT. LYING. TO. ME!" he says as he pulls the trigger.
