Lily Sailor

I woke up when the car came to a stop. I rubbed my eyes and I yawned.

"Hey," Alec says. "We're here." I stop moving. It was time. Time to say goodbye. Time to let go. Oh how I dreaded this moment. I spotted my phone on the dashboard. Do it quick, Lily. Don't look at him. Don't look at Alec or Dev.

Alec gets out of the car with Dev and they go into the building we have parked at. I quickly grabbed my phone. Don't even think about it.

Lily: I've been kidnapped by the robbers from the other night. Please help.... My thumb hovers over the send button. I look at my bracelet again and my thumb presses the button. I send the address and I let out a shaky breath.

"Hey Lily!" I look up to see Dev waving at me. I put on a fake smile and I get out of the car. I'm sorry.

Dev grabs my arm and as we walk into the building, I see Alec talking to a man. I think it's the one he called Nic. The group of boys carry Dev up into the air and welcome him. I hate that it warmed my heart so much. I look down at my feet. Don't cave Lily. Just don't. You have a promise to fulfill. It's not just anyone's promise. It's moms.

The other Royal members look at me. "Hey! Alec actually charmed the hostage!" A blonde guy says as he winks at me.

"Are you surprised?" Another says. Everyone bursts out laughing and I can feel myself blush.

"Oh, shut up," Alec says, grinning. He was so happy. Stop. Why couldn't he be mean? Why did he have to stay in my damn heart? Why is he so damn kind. Life. Life is the hardest game to play. Everyone gathers around us to hug Dev and I.

"You got in back in time for our next plan, Alec."

"Well before we start with that, guys, this is Dev," Alec says with a sweet tone. I bite my lip. I did the right thing. I did the right thing.

"A new member for The Royal's." Nic grins at Dev and ruffles his hair. "I'm Nic."

"Come on guys, welcome Dev!" Alec says, smiling as well. I looked down at the floor. Every little quirky thing Alec does seems to make my heart melt.

"HI DEV," All the boys shout. They all give Dev a pat on the back and since the day we've found Dev, he smiled with true happiness.

"Okay planning time," Nic says. Gather around guys. You too Lily." I shyly step closer to the group of boys. I feel a hand around my waist. Alec. I can't look at him. If he gets arrested, will I ever see him again?

"We are running out of money again. The Queen's have gotten new members and they are all roughly 9-13 year olds," Nic says. First The Royal's and then The Queen's? What do they do?

"Of course they need more help," A red headed man says.

"R," Alec warns.

"They don't ever do anything to help us. Why the hell do we have to help them?"

"Please," I hear another say. "They make us feel good and we can boast." Everyone chuckles.

"Alec," I whisper, still not meeting his eyes. "You have a lot of explaining to do."

"I know, love. I'm sorry," Alec whispers back. I felt my heart skip a beat. No, Lily, what's done is done.

My cheeks hurts from smiling all day. I've finally found my brothers. Wherever they were, I felt at home and this time, I have Lily on my arm.

Soon, it was 7:00. Dev was in a room with R while Lily and I stayed in a room again. As soon as I closed the door behind me, I pulled her in to kiss her. She kisses me back.
She breaks away from me leaving my lips cold and full of need. "Explain, Romeo." Lily was looking down again. Was she angry with me for not explaining the whole situation? She was obviously nervous. She kept tapping her left foot.

"Of course," I say. I grab her hand and lead her to the bed. I lay back and I pat at the opened spot next to me. Lily sits down.

I sigh. Where do I even start? "Well, um, ok. So in our group, everyone has left their home. Our group of guys are the head of our whole organization. So, we are The Royals. Then we have The Queens. They are all females. Roughly 30 ladies are in their group. Nic's girlfriend, Jess, is the head of their group. So roughly everyone's loves are with them. Which is why Leo was making jokes. Lastly we have The Kings. Ran by R's brother, Greyson. Grey for short. They take in all the new guys like Dev for example but I'll have Dev stay with me. Questions?"
