Red and Blue meets Dark

Lily Sailor

Laneya stayed at dad's house over the night. He finally forgave me and he was probably the happiest person to meet Laneya besides Fin of course.

Laneya had his eyes. A beautiful blue that reminded me of him. Even though I was a single mother, I loved Laneya with all my heart. She barely cried and she loved meeting people.

I checked my watch and it was 3:00. 3:30 was my favorite time in the world. I met up with Dev everyday to talk but it was always nice to see him.

I get in my car and drive to Dev's school. We always bet in the same place. Under the bleachers and then I'd give him a ride to his bus stop.

"Dev, you won't believe what happened-" I start to say until I looked up and saw Alec instead of Dev. Alec Evans. The man who I haven't seen in a year. The father to my child. The love of my damn life. The one I betrayed. Jesus Christ. Let there be a large hole to swallow me up.

"Alec," I say softly.

"So, Dev has been keeping you a secret for a while," Alec says. He looked as good as ever. Gosh, I missed him.

"I'm sorry, it was my idea to meet with him. I missed him so much," I quickly say. Alec doesn't reply and pats the empty grass in front of him. I stare at him and I sit before him. His scent hits me and I bite my lip.

"After all these months, you still drive me crazy," Alec says softly and I see his blue eyes look at my lips.

I freeze. "You have no idea how much I regret what I did," I say softly. "My mom's promise was not worth you."

Alec looks at me. "I miss you," he says.

"As do I," I say.

"Look, can we go back to square one? I'm not saying I fully forgive you for that day but I want to know the Lily now," Alec says. That made my day.

"Wait what about Rayna." I ask.

"She was sort of my rebound, I'm sorry. She wasn't you though," Alec says softly.
I sadly smile and then I look into his blue eyes. "Before we move onto the new me, I want you to know that everything I have told you wasn't a lie. I love you so much and everyday I think about you. It's crazy. I really want you to forgive me though," I say. "All of me. I need to know that I can see you without you holding a grudge against me."

"I'm Alec," he says holding out his hand and I knew he has forgiven me.

I smile and I shake his hand. "Lily."
