There I stand. Outside of the bedroom door. I'm hesitant to go in. Who knows what waiting on the other side despite the flowers.
I open the door.
Then I closed the door.
My face flushed I didn't know what to do. It's not like I've never seen it before or maybe because I've never seen it before. Ahh, I'm screaming inside, I can't think. What's gonna happen?
Wait I know what's gonna happen. Why can't I think properly?
"City, you good out there?"
"Perfect."
"Did you...like what you saw?" He chuckled on the other side of the door. "I wanted to take a shower first, I didn't think you'd be back till later.""First? What were we gonna do after?" I implore.
"I was gonna take you out to dinner. I thought we could get to know each other a bit more. The buds were meant for after dinner."I shout "Deal!" through the door. I didn't sound delighted or eager. I just sounded uneasy.
I just couldn't get that vision out of my head. Phillip's towel slipping off his steamy wet body.
I shouldn't be talking about steamy, wet anything! I have to get ready for this 'dinner' thing.
I put on a short dress. Probably not the best choice but it's all I had. It wasn't a fancy dress it was more of a party dress. Then sneakers because they go great with everything.
He came out of the room in a tuxedo. "Sexy!" Fuck I said that out loud. He giggled and mutter "You don't look so bad yourself." I responded with "That's a really funny joke, you're sexy, I'm sexier." I put a confident smile on my face.
It made him laugh even more. What's really funny is when I met him I thought after that night I'd never see him again. But Cillian called and I came back and now this.
What is he thinking? What's going on in Phillip's head? Is he planning on asking me out or was I just going to be one of the many girls he has slept with. That's why I was so reluctant.
I rather die than be on somebody's fuck list. I'm glad Cillian called. If he hadn't I fear I would've done something really stupid.
