My heart couldn't stop beating. I had a bag packed just in case he'd react badly just like last time
Of course, I'd care if my brother was in a relationship but I didn't care that he was with a dude as long as he was happy.
But it's not like his boyfriend is my best friend. I'd be pissed if he dated my best friend and neither of them told me.
"You've been asking so much about my girlfriend and well..." Phillip turns to me. "This is her."
At first, he laughed and said 'Good one' but he soon realized that we weren't really laughing.
Silence. Cillian rose from his chair. "Look, man, I'm sorry we–"
Phillip was struck in the face.
I got up. So did Cillian's boyfriend and after processing Phillip followed. I tried scolding Cillian but of course, that didn't work. Phillip pulled me back and whacked Cillian.
The two began to fight, Melton attempted to pull Cillian and Phillip apart. As did I but nothing worked.
I tried one last time and was struck in the face by Phillip on accident of course.
Silence again. "Baby I'm sorry. I–" as Phillip wrapped his arms around my I clasped my left cheek. "I'm calling dad. You're going back." Cillian bluffed. The two panted as I grabbed my bag.
"It was really nice to meet you, Melton. See me out?"
He was confused at first but did it anyway. On my way out I hugged him then whispered in his ear something I hope he held close to his heart.
I walked. The rain still pouring from yesterday. My cheek starts to turn blue. But I arrived at my destination. I knock.
The door opens. "Katie, can I ask for a favor?"
