The clouds were getting darker, it started to rain. The rain brought along vengeance, the harder it poured the faster I ran.By the time I got there, I was soaking wet.
I knocked on the door. He opened it and I embraced him. He didn't seem to care that I was wet and soon we were on the floor.
He told me what happened. And I held him right as he cried in my arms. I offered him a place to stay but he said no. Because of my sister being there and everything.
He knew I hadn't cane out to her yet. He also said that he'd have to take care of Cameron.
Then I told him, about everything that happened and he understood.
A week later he moved in. I helped him prepare the funeral for his sister and he decided to invite my sister.
I called her and she answered. I was relieved to hear her voice as she accepted his invitation.
She also said that she'd be coming back in three days. Over the phone, I introduced him as a friend.
Now I have three days before she comes home and I can introduce him as something more.
I'm. Freaking. Out.
"You don't have to tell her." He announced. I kissed him softly leaning into his ear and whispering, "I can do whatever I want."
That ended our night before we had our fun.
I had a thought to come out at dinner, I'll invite my best friend and his girlfriend and of course, City will be there.
It's perfect.
So three days later she came back with a bigger bag than she left with.
She started going to university which I was excited about.I was already taking classes but now I can complain to my sister about them.
She also started taking a job in business. So dinner arrived and it was time to tell everyone.
"Looks like your girlfriend is late, what's her name anyway?" I raise a question.
"Well about that–" Phillip was cut off by City coming downstairs. I introduced them and she sat down.
As we started to consume our food I told them about me and Mel.
They were pretty okay with it which not only relieved me but made me happy.
"Phillip I really wanted to meet your girlfriend tonight," I tell him.
"Maybe you already met her...Cillian.. there's something I wanna tell you..."
