Chapter Eleven

Aaron and Breanna wait for her cousin to come and watch the kids until they get back from their date. While Aaron is downstairs letting Breanna gets dress for the occasion, her cousin knocks on the door and Aaron open it then dapping him up, thanking him for coming.

"No problem, Ron. You know I got yall. When yall planning on coming back?"

Aaron closes the door then walks in the kitchen as he follows behind.

"Around 10."

"Ight, coo."

"You want something to drink, man?"

"Nah, I'm good." Ryan sat on the stool.

"Wassup with Bre?"

"What you mean?" Ryan furrowed his eyebrows.

"She's acting different, Ry. Like she super active and moody."

Ryan chuckles at Aaron while leaning on the kitchen counter.

"She might be on that stuff." He joked.

Aaron looks at him strangely and takes it seriously then Ryan start shaking his head and laugh.

"I'm playing, yo. Take a joke. Bre won't do that to yall."

Aaron gives him a stale face while looking at him.

"Be serious. What do I do?"

"Hell if I know. Fuck her."

"Nigga, you stupid." Aaron laughed. "But I already did that."

"Damn, I don't know then. Just talk to her tonight and go easy on her."

"Okay, I will. She is stressing me out."

"Women do that to you. You just gonna have to stick it out."

"Ight, I hear you."

"Sorry that I couldn't make it to the kids' birthday party."

"Yeah, you good, Ry. I know you had business to take care of. You called on their birthday, right?"

"No, I called Bre two days before their birthday."

"Oh okay."

Aaron now knows that Breanna is lying about who was on the phone that day because Ryan is the only cousin that Breanna is close to out of all of them.

When is she gonna stop lying to me? Aaron thought.

Shortly, Breanna comes downstairs with a smile on her face, wearing the dress that Aaron loves so much on her.

"You look beautiful, baby." Aaron smiled, ignoring the fact she had lied to him once again for now.

"Thank you, baby. You ready?"

"Yeah." Aaron looked at her then at Ryan. "Call us if anything goes wrong."

"I will. Y'all have fun."

They walk out of the house and gets in the car. Aaron starts driving to the restaurant while the music plays. Once they get there Aaron parks the car and they get out together. Aaron gets themselves a table, and they order their food and drinks. After their food is delivered to them, they start to eat and talk a little bit then they start talking about the memories that they had together and laughs at those times. They are having a good time together since they haven't been out in a while because of work and the kids. After their date ended, Aaron starts driving them home then Aaron begins to speak to her.
