mistake

The ride to school was killing me. Father won't allow me to drive so he takes me and I walk home. I hate rides with him.

"So repeat to me what happened."he says coldy to me.

"It was my fault, im clumsy. I tripped and fell down the stairs."I answer

He just nods his head and let's me out. I walk with my head down. I got a few worried looks. I coukd feel his eyes on my back. I rushed inside and breathed a sigh if relief.

I stopped at my locker to grab my books, but of course couldn't open it with one hand. I heard a laugh and turned around. It was the same girl from gym the other day. She was wathing me looking amused.

"Do you need help sweetie?"

"Yes please I can't do it"

"Of course"I gave her my combinatiin and she easily opened it. She looked at my casted arm then away.

"What happened?"

"I....ugh...im a klutz I fell down some stairs." I laugh but it even sounded weird to me. She got a weird look on her face.

"If you say so"she says unsure."Walk you to class?"

What could be the harm? It's not like I would tell dad I was talking to anyone.

"I'd like that"I answer shly. We walk to class together. My heart speeds up when I sit next to Seth. He's got that goofy smile on his face of course. Till my cast catches his eye. He frowns.

"What happened?"he asks like hes concerned.

"She fell down some stairs"Lizzy says. They both get quiet and have blank looks on their faces.

Suddenly Seth slams his fist down on his desk and the look in his face scared me. He stood up and stormed out. Wonder what happened to him? Then Lizzy gets uo and walks out too. Hmmm okay?

                       Seth's p.o.v.

I couldn't help the smile that came onto my face as my mate sat down beside me."Look at her arm" Zander says to me. I look down and see her hand wrapped in a cast.

"What happened?"

She opened her mouth, but Lizzy beat her to it.

"She fell down some stairs"She says. Then she mindlinks me. "When she told me that she was sweating like she was nervous and her heart beat sped up. She was lying I'm not sure why."

I don't understand why she would lie. My first slammed against the desk. I stood up and ran out.

"ourtside now"I mindlinked Lizzy. She followed me out.

"Yes Alpha?"

"Why the fuck would she lie to anyone about this?"

"She obviously doesn't want anyone to know. Maybe someones hurting her."she says lowly. I couldn't stop the growl that escaped my lips. Someone hurt my baby.

"Kill them"Zander yells. And I will when I find out the truth. And I will. I don't think I could be around her right now so I skipped class.
