am i dead?

This can't be real. I wasn't in any pain. But I remember the pain became to unbearable. I can't remember what exactly happened but I didn't care.

I could feel the ground beneath my feet. Wasn't I in my room? Where am I? I looked around. I was in a field. It looked so beautiful but something was off.

I could feel eyes on me. I looked around till my eyes landed on a woman. She was watching me.

I tried  walking closer to her but the more I walked it seemed the farther away she got from me.

"Don't be afraid my dear." She said smiling to me.

"Who are you?" I asked. I didn't feel afraid.

"I am the moongodess " what the hell is a moongodess?

"Shit I'm dead aren't I?"

"No my dear you aren't not yet. There is a way for you to return." She promised.

But did I want to return to a life of pain and loneliness?

"And if I don't?" She smiled softly at me.

"Then you may wait here for your mate."

"My mate?"

"Yes Seth "

Seth I forgot about him. We've gotten so close. I've even fallen for him, not that I would ever tell him that. Surely he would be Okay right?

"What will happen to him if I stay here?"

"He will die without his mate, he would join you soon after."

He would die? What like kill himself?

"You have to send me back, he can't die." She looked past me. I turned and saw the most beautiful wolf standing in front of me.

She was all white besides her blue tipped ears.

"This is Shadow," how ironic being shadow but she's white. "She will return with you. Be a part of you" she says.

A part of me? "What do you mean?" She didn't answer. She was gone.

The wolf ran straight for me. She jumped up. I didn't feel afraid. She didn't hurt me. It was like she just jumped into my body.

I felt my body jerk. It was like I was being pulled away.
