i can't go back

I finally got to see Lizzy. I missed her so much. I was walking down the stairs when I heard her talking.

"Lizzy!" I screamed and ran to her hugging her tightly. I love Seth but I need people.

"I miss you" she smiled to me.

"I miss human contact." I giggled to her.

"You didn't last night" Seth muttered as he walked by us.

"You didn't!" She burst out laughing as I covered my face. Who says that in front of people?

"Jackass" I smiled and slapped his arm. He chuckled and kissed my lips. Then he left out the door.

"Where is he going?" I asked.

"He has to patrol"

I plopped down onto the couch beside her. She was acting funny.

"What Lizzy?"

"My mate...was with Seth. He helped find you at your house." Oh my God. I wasn't sure what to say so I just looked away.

"Why didn't you tell us? We could have helped you." Her voice trembled. I looked up, she had tears in her eyes.

"What was I suppose to say?... that I was weak? That my father constantly beat me?" I trailed off.

"Is that what you think? That your weak? Your wrong. It wasn't your fault Alex." I didn't want to cry. I could feel the tratorious tears falling down my face.

My father still scares me. I can't stay here much longer. He must be furious at me.

"Lizzy I'm scared. I don't want to go home. But if I don't he'll hurt me." I could barely talk between the tears.

"Babe are you Okay? What's wrong?" I heard Seth's voice in my head.

"My father" was all I said.

Soon after Seth burst through the door and ran to me. He could feel I was scared. Since he marked me.

"Baby?"he asked.  I held onto him tightly.

"He's going to hurt me if I stay."

"He will never hurt you again I swear."

I wish I could believe that.
