The Skater Girl (A Luke Hemmings Fan-Fic)

Chapter 5- Meet Gwen

     It was at this very moment that Calum and I were both on the ground wondering what had happened. I looked at my throbbing knee to see that it was covered in blood and so was Caulm’s elbow. I see Luke, Michael, and Ashton running towards us. "W-what happened?" I hear Calum ask just loud enough for me to hear.

     "I don't know, but my knee hurts," I say so he can hear me. I look up to see Luke standing over me, he had a worried look on his face. "What happened?" I asked him. He looked and Ashton and bits his lip. "Luke? Ashton? MIchael? Does anyone know what happened?" I ask again waiting for an answer.

     "It was Brad..." Luke says trailing off.

     "He put a metal bar across the finish line and when you guys hit it you flew off your boards and hit the ground," Ashton adds. I look at my knee again and think to myself ' I must have landed straight on my knee.'  Right as I finish my thought I look up to see Brad standing on top if a building looking down at me and Calum laughing.  I point up at him my face completely filled with horror. Everyone still around me looks up, but he was gone. I dropped my hand no one saw him, of course he isn't seen unless he wants you to see him. I sigh and get up with a little help from  Luke and Ashton because it hurts to stand on my right leg because of my busted up knee. MIchael helps Calum who put his hand over his bloody elbow.

   "Lets get you guys cleaned up," Michael says and we make our way over to the medical shed. When we got there I sat down on one of the chairs and used another to prop my leg up. Calum sat down on the third chair leaving on left that Luke pulled up so he was sitting by my bloody knee. He took water and poured it on my knee to was the blood away so we could both see it better. When most the blood was gone I saw that I had a pretty big open wound on my knee. He grabbed the bandage wrap from the medical box and slowly started wrapping it around my knee. After he got a decent amount around it he cut it and taped it so it would stay till we got home. I look over to see that Calum is getting is elbow finished by Michael. When they get done we start for home. Luke wrapped my knee so I couldn't really bend it so he had to carry me back to my house.

   When we got back to my house and got inside I saw people I have never seen before. "Umm mom?" I question. My mom looks up at me and sees the white wrap on my knee.

    "What Happened?" My mom says getting up and rushing over to me leave the random people sitting in our living room by themselves.

  I tripped over a metal bar at the skate park and flew off my board landing on my knee. The same thing  happened to Calum, but he landed on his elbow." I say motioning to Calum when I say his name. Luke walks me over to the couch and sits me down to a man that looks to be in his mid 30s. There was a woman who looked to be a little younger then the man and was sitting on the other side of him. Luke took the seat on the other side of me. My mom walked back over and sat on the loveseat. On the other love seat sat  a girl that looked to be about my age. She was really pretty, she had what looked to be short light brown hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, and had beautiful hazel eyes. She was wearing a darkish blue crop top that said "just keep swimming" on it. She was also wearing blue jean shorts and to top it off she was wearing black vans.

  She had her face buried in her phone until Calum came and sat next to her. I could have swore I saw sparks go off when they looked at each other. I nudged Luke and motioned to them, when he saw them he smirked and then said, "Hey Calum, it looks like you've found yourself a little girl friend!" He then laughs as both of their faces turn bright red. I also couldn't help but giggle a little bit. This girl seemed really cool and I wanted to get to know her better, plus it seemed like her and Calum were hitting it off so she would probably be hanging out with us quite a bit.

  I was brought out of my thoughts when I hear Ashton and MIchael arguing. They were both trying to sit in our chair but keep trying to push each other off. "Ashton, I was here first!" Michael yells elbowing Ash in the ribs.

   "Ow! Mickey that hurt!" Ashton cries pushing and shoving at Michael trying to get Michael off the chair.

   "Oh my gosh if I have to listen to you guys fight anymore I'm going to push you both off the chair and take it for myself!" Sophia yells at them from the floor making them stop. Michael nudges Ashton one last time making him ground in pain. Sophia snaps her head back giving them a glare. They both fold their hands and put them in their laps looking down. Luke and I laugh, and I decide to take my chance to talk to the girl sitting in my living room.

   "Hey my names, Dani, and this is Luke, Ashton, Michael, Sophia and I believe you already met Calum," I say to her.

    "Nice to meet you all, my name's Gwen," She says smiling at me. I smile back and lean back on the couch as Luke puts his arm around me.

  My mom talked to Gwen's parents for what seems like forever. After they left Gwen stayed around to hangout with us. My mom took me  and Calum to the bathroom so she could look at our wounds. She undid mine first, and since Calum and I were the only to in here, everyone else was in the treehouse, I decided to ask him what he thought about Gwen. "So Calum, what do you think about Gwen?" I ask casually.

   "I think she's really cool she's into a lot of the same stuff as me." He says and pauses as he watches my mom finish taking off my bandages. "I also think she very pretty, she confident in herself and I really like that," as he says this I notice he has a smile on his face and is looking down at the ground. I almost aww out loud. I think they would be so cute together.

  Once my mom finishes taking of the wrap the luke put on we all three take a look at my knee. It was still slightly bleeding but not as bad as before. The scrap took up just about all my knee, I guess this is what I get for not wearing padding. My mom puts some antibiotic stuff on it before telling me that I just need to let it air out and not cover it.

  I stayed in the bathroom while my mom did the same thing to Calum, his scap wasn't bleeding anymore but still took up a good part of his elbow. When my mom finally got done Calum and I went out to the back and was greeted right away by a panicked Gwen, Sophia, and Ashton.

   "Guys? What's Wrong?" I ask as I look over all three of them which causes me to start panicing as well.

   "It's Michael and Luke, they are up in the tree house basically tearing each other apart! Ashton tried stopping them but only got pushed off and told to stay out of it," Gwen says rushing her words a little.      

    "Wait why would they do that?" I asked as I start running to the tree house listening as I here the two fighting boys yelling at eachother.

    "Michael whispered something to Luke and he snapped. We don't really know what was said." Ashton says as they follow me to the tree house.

  I climb the ladder and get to the top to see the Michael has Luke pinned to the ground and was about to punch him in the face. I run and tackle Michael, pushing him to the ground. He then pushes me off and goes back after Luke. Luke was just about to hit Michael square in the jaw when I jumped in front of them. Before luke could realise I was in the way he swung. I braced myself to be hit but it never came. I opened my eyes to see the his fist was stop by Michael's hand.

  Both boys were breathing hard as they stopped what they were doing, looking at eachother and then back at me. Finally the silence was broken when Ashton said, "What have you to done?"

Well I finally updated and I am pretty happy with this chapter. A lot happened plus we met the new girl Gwen. I'd like to say a big thank you to Gwen who wanted to be in my book. Her wanting to be in my book helped me, it gave me an idea on what to write about.
