Wanna hear a story? Once upon a time, there were two girls. They were forced to live together and fought day and night. One of the girls thought she'd had enough and tried to escape. Of course she didn't get far. Her tiny legs couldn't compare to those of the men following her. She was punished and told if she tried to leave again, her punishment would be much worse. So she stopped and resigned herself to living in that house with that mean girl and her father.
As months went by, the fights between them got worse. The mean girl kept coming up with new ways to torture the other girl until she couldn't take it anymore. She did what anyone else would have done. Retaliated. It became a game of tit for tat. They competed, each doing something worse to the other. One day the mean girl snuck into the other girl's room and burnt her treasured memories. The clothes she was found in when her mother left her at the orphanage. It was the only thing she had that belonged to her and now it was gone.
When the other girl found out, she cried all throughout the night, saying that if her mother came back for her, she wouldn't be able to find her because her clothes were gone. The next day, she set out to get back at the mean girl. She knew what she was about to do was wrong but still did it anyway because she was tired of being the victim. Going to the kitchen she looked through the drawers. She'd seen one of the maids put the poison they used to kill rats with in there somewhere. Lucky for her, she found it and over the next few days, she sprinkled it on the mean girl's food.
The mean girl started getting sick. She vomited, had a fever and was taken to the hospital. She never came back. The maids told her that the mean girl had passed away. Instead of crying she jumped up and down, happy that she was finally free from that awful girl. Not knowing that she had sealed her fate by killing that girl, she celebrated, even went as far as to ask the maids to prepare chocolate cake for her. She thought her life would be so much better from then on.
But then a few weeks later, another girl showed up at the house. And unknown to them, history was about to repeat itself. Only this time, their roles had changed.

Marianna"I'm sorry but you must have mistaken me for someone else. My name is Marianna. If you're looking for Carina, my condolences then. She died a few days ago" I tell the woman who for some reason hasn't stopped smiling.
"My dear, I think you've worn that skin for so long that you've forgotten who you really are"
"I think you should leave before I ask my men to drag you out"
"You're still feisty as always. I'm glad to see just how strong and powerful you've become"
"Who the fuck are you?" I snap pushing Chris's hands off me. This woman is acting as if she knows me but I've never seen her before.
"Up close you're really beautiful. You don't know how long I've waited to see you, to talk to you and to touch you" she moves forward and lifts her hand towards me but I take a step back. Chris steps in front of me, blocking her from me
"Marianna, do you know who this woman is?"
"No, I've never seen her"
"Okay lady, Marianna has had a hard day and she needs to rest. You should let her be and talk to her another day"
"You must be De Luca"
"If you know who I am then you should know that I won't hesitate to kill you if you don't leave"
"No you won't. Not if you want to end up as my son-in-law in the future"
"Excuse me?" Chris asks looking over his shoulder at me. He looks at the woman then back at me again before murmuring "No wonder your smile looks so familiar"
