it had all turned out to be fine, the two of the littles peacefully colouring and giggling together over the drawings they were making for their daddies.

of course, until they both wanted the dandelion crayon at the exact same moment and both of them refused to let it go.

jisung tried to pull it out of jeongin's grip, but the younger frowned and pulled harder on the item, refusing to let go.

''you can have it later, i need it now.'' he complained, the corners of jisung's mouth turning down to form a cute pout.

''so do i,'' the other protested, giving another yank on the crayon and blinking away the steady build-up of tears.

chan looked at minho with his eyes wide out of fear, not knowing how to handle the situation as the other just squinted.

''little prince,'' minho decided, jisung stopping his harsh pulling for a moment. ''what do you need the yellow for?''

he shook his head from side to side. ''can't say, will spoil it.'' he said, folding his arms over his chest only for jeongin to stare at the crayon in his hand instead of using it.

''is it the last colour you need?'' the older asked, staying right on his place on the couch in contrast to chan looking like he was about to get up at any moment. jisung nodded. ''okay, small one. how about you let innie go first, and then you can colour it extra good.''

jisung looked up at the ceiling for a moment to think, letting his eyes meet minho's again and nodding, gasping with joy at the soft smile that spread on minho's face. the younger turned to face jeongin. ''you can have it first, because i love you.'' he said, the r's starting to sound more like w's.

the maknae giggled, leaning over to kiss jisung's cheek. ''thank you, sungie. i love you too.'' he said softly, calmly colouring and sometimes crossing the lines because of how messy he was.

soon enough, he handed it to jisung, the older taking his turn to kiss his cheek and leaning close to the paper to make sure he coloured within his own lines.

eventually jeongin grew bored of just watching and slipped out of the chair, darting over to chan and sitting down in his lap to cuddle into the crook of his neck.

chan wrapped his arms around his waist in automatic response, letting his boyfriend snuggle into his chest.

minho smiled fondly at the interaction between the two and snapped his gaze to his boyfriend when he heard the chair being shoved back, hearing the dull noise of him hitting his feet on the tile floor and watching him walk over with his gaze trained on the drawing.

''i made you something,'' he shyly introduced, sticking out the art to his caregiver and watching minho take it with gentle hands so he wouldn't smudge the crayons. ''do you like it?''

the older smiled happily, letting his fingertips trail over the unplanned lines carefully. ''it's beautiful, sweets,'' minho informed, opening his arms so jisung could come and sit sideways on his lap. ''thank you very much.''

jisung yawned, minho cooing as he put the drawing on the dresser at the side of the couch. ''is the little prince sleepy from all his hard work?''

''yeah,'' the younger sighed. ''can he sleep here?''

''of course, little one,'' minho permitted, bringing up his hand to card it through the soft locks. ''take a little nap.''

when jisung woke up from what only seemed to be about an hour nap, he was immediately jumping around, getting jeongin just as excited so now the two boys were running and jumping around.

it got to the point where they straight up ignored minho telling them to stop and come eat something in the kitchen.

minho frowned. ''jisung, come here right now.'' he ordered, not raisin his voice but rather just taking on a more dominant tone to show he was serious.

jisung stiffened in his way of running and scurried over to him, standing with his hand clasped behind his straightened back.

seeing as it wasn't fun for jeongin to run around on his own, he joined them in standing.

he took his boyfriend's face in his hands and kissed his nose. ''we're going to eat some fruit to keep you all happy and healthy.''

redirecting his gaze to jeongin, the younger shrinking a bit under his intimidating gaze. ''you too, go look for your daddy.''
