A/N I am warning everybody now, there is some swearing in this book. If you don't like that I would suggest you don't read this.
Picture is Danielle
Hi, my name is, Danielle Rose Mitchell. I am 15 years old. I live in a pretty large house in Delaware. I live about a half an hour away from the beach. I wouldn’t say my family was rich, but my dad is a slightly famous artist. My mom works at a candle store, part time. I could basically get anything I want anytime I want it.
I have an amazing boyfriend named, Austin. He is the quarterback on the football team. He is 6 feet tall and has amazingly toned abs. He has light brown hair and brown eyes. We have been together for 2 years.
I am the head cheerleader. I have long, dark brown hair, usually in a high ponytail. I have bright green eyes that sometimes change to hazel. I am 5 feet and 9 inches tall; tall enough to be a model.
Basically everyone is my friend. Well, except for nerds and emos. I don’t like them. They don’t like me. I don’t care, though, they are nobody.
Anyways that is me. My family is amazing. Oh, by the way, I have an older half-sister. Her name is Maddi, she is my dad’s daughter. I haven’t seen her since she was 14. She moved in with her mom permanently because my dad made her leave after she started talking back to him and teachers and got suspended multiple times. All I know now, is that she is in college and engaged to be married. It’s crazy the things that can happen in a 7 years. I don’t even know what she looks like.
Well, I guess that is all. Bye!
*1 year and 8 months later*
Hey, I’m Dani. I said that almost 2 years ago. I am currently 17. It’s crazy, how much things have changed. Austin dumped me, I got kicked out of cheer, I have been put in a mental hospital, and I lost all of my friends. But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
All of this started 1 year ago. My mom and dad were going to the Bahamas for their anniversary. I was sitting at home with my “best friend” Sarah. We were having a girl night, watching movies, makeovers, and best of all ice cream! While we were gossiping, the home phone rang. Nobody ever calls the home phone.
I answered the phone to be greeted by my grandma, basically sobbing into the phone. I then found out the worst news of my life, the plane my parents were on crashed. Nobody survived, my parents were gone. I fell to the ground, unable to process what I just heard. Suddenly, Sarah came running in, confused on what had happened. At that point I was sobbing into my arms, unable to make any words come out of my mouth.
Next thing I knew, Sarah was leaving, she just walked out of the house. I was alone in the house, my parents were dead, and my own best friend didn’t even care. I couldn’t handle the pain I was going through. I ran up to the bathroom and got my mom’s pain medication out of the cabinet. I dumped the whole bottle in my hand and got a cup of water from the sink.
As I started dumping the pills into my mouth, I heard a car door slam. I threw the pills in the sink and ran downstairs to see who was here. Austin was at my door.
I quickly wiped the tears away, so he wouldn’t see me this way. He barged in and pinned me against the wall. Kissing my neck, roughly.
“I want you right now.” He said assertively, pinning me harder against the wall. I could smell the alcohol in his breath.
I started crying harder, “no” I said, struggling to get away from him, but he didn’t care. He slapped me and then pushed me against the wall even harder, making my head smack against the wall. I couldn’t handle everything that was going on. I collapsed to the ground, crying into my hands.
