A month has passed since I have gotten out of the mental hospital. Time is going very fast for me. I think it has something to do with the fact that I never leave the house anymore. I only shower about once a week and I stay in sweats all day.
Maddi kept telling me that I should go shopping with her, but I am afraid to see anybody from school. She was obviously worried about me. I had lost at least 20 pounds because I’m never really hungry.
Today, Maddi really wanted me to leave the house. I think she was getting really worried about the fact that I’m not really even moving that much.
“Danielle, I really think you should get out and do something fun today. Your doctor said, that if you lay in bed all day, your medication isn’t working.” Maddi said.
I already knew my medication isn’t working, but I don’t need medicine to make me not crazy. There is nothing wrong with me I was just sad because my parents died that doesn’t make me crazy.
I decided that today I would go shopping with Maddi, just so they wouldn’t put me back in a mental hospital. I got a shower and put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a large grey shirt. I wore some black combat boots and a little dream catcher necklace. I put on a pair of bright blue nerdy glasses, to help cover the dark circles under my eyes. (To see the outfit go to- http://www.polyvore.com/everyday_dreamcatcher/set?id=133146251 ) I also put on some foundation and a little bit of mascara.
We went to the mall and got some pretzels. Then we went into a home decoration store because Maddi wanted me to make my room more bright and colorful. I think she thought the bright colors would make me happier, or something like that. After that we went into a couple clothing stores. I got a lot of darker color clothes and I didn’t really try to.
As we were walking out of the store, I saw Austin and Sarah walking around holding hands and eating pretzels. I couldn’t believe it. My so called, “Best friend” is dating my ex-boyfriend. I kind of just stood in place, so Maddi came over to me worried.
“Danielle, what’s wrong?” she said looking to where I was staring.
“Come on, we can talk about it in the car” she said, starting to pull me with her to the car.
In the car, I told her about Austin being my ex-boyfriend and how Sarah was my ex-best friend. After I had told her about everything, we went home. It hurt to see who I once trusted, turn on me. But the main thing was, that I wanted revenge, and I wanted it to hurt them even more. I wasn’t sure about what I was going to do, but I was definitely going to do something.
When I got home, I noticed a large moving truck across the street. Somebody was moving in, but honestly I don’t remember the people that lived there moving out. I couldn’t really, see anybody that would be potentially living there except for a young girl, probably around 6 or 7.
She was adorable, she had light brown hair, which was down to the middle of her back. She was quite short, probably up to my waist. I didn’t want to stare too much so I went inside and went to my room.
At least I got Maddi off my back for a while. Hopefully she won’t bug me to go anywhere, anytime soon. I finished my school work for the day, so I went on YouTube to pass some time. That is mainly what I have been doing lately, going on YouTube or Tumblr when I am bored.
At around, 4:30, Maddi came in.
“Hey Danielle, guess who I just met?” she said, clapping her hands together and sitting down on my couch.
I didn’t even have to respond, she told me immediately after she said it, anyway.
“I met the new neighbors!” she said, excitedly “they invited all of us to a barbecue, this weekend.”
