Chapter 6

-Quick note below

{I'm sorry I usually don't do these introduction/quick notes because I feel like it's a waste of time and you just want me to hurry up and get to the point, but I felt like if I didn't do this then people would "start a riot" and trouble so I'm going to avoid all that and just write this warning instead.}

In this chapter I'm mostly talking about my beliefs, explaining my theory, my thoughts, etc.. To tell you straight off the bat, I'm Christian. If your not, I'm fine with that. If you feel like you will be offended by this chapter or etc... Then please just skip it. I'm not going to talk about how __________ is _________ I'm just going to talk about my religion. Please don't hate me! If you read this and then you offended then just...... I don't know. I really can't help that because I cautioning you now, I know some people get really mad or irritated when other people talk about a different belief then them, and that's fine but just keep it to yourself. If your Jewish and you don't believe God did __________ then don't start a riot I'm just stating it from my religions point of view, not yours. If your Christian too and I say something that's not correct, then ok, I'm sorry but just ignore it then, I'm sorry for the mistake I didn't research for this topic, I got my info from my own knowledge. As long as I don't say something as wrong like "we worship the devil" then their shouldn't be a reason to "let all hell come loose" and make a rude comment about it or sue me etc... Here we go. Enjoy.

Section 1 - Childhood

I grew up in a Christian environment. From the day I was born to this very minute, I learned how to be a Christian. My parents were both raised in a God-ly environment, my dad's side of the family being Catholic while my mom's being Christian. When my parents married, my dad converted and became a Christian.

When I was a baby I was baptized. I was also baptized again when I was older, I believe at age 9 or 10. My second time being baptized was my choice, I felt like the first one was my parents but the second time I knew for sure I accepted Jesus in my heart. I went to Sunday school ever since I was able to. I'm still currently in one now (the older group of course).

I still attend church to this day, and I probably always will, with my mom and dad, my husband and kids, and then as grandparents for theirs. Our Christian belief just runs in our family.

Section 2 - My thoughts

Because I've grown up being a Christian my whole life, I've never really stopped to think about my perspective in the religion. I believe in God, I worship him and praise him but after all of that I still have a question in my head about him. How do I really know he exists?

I know all the facts, the bible, the stories, the proof but I always feel like their still something missing. I feel like I don't know the key point. I feel like any second he can turn out to be not real. I don't believe things people tell me usually because I'm a touchy-feel-y person. If I don't see it with my own two eyes, I never truly believe in it. My belief still exists and is strong but I just have that feeling in the back of my head, What if it's a lie?

Section 3 - Involvement

I've always been a active participant in any activity with my church. Whether it involves going to camp to helping the homeless, I'm always involved. I always liked helping others and having fun. That's just part of my personality.

Section 4 - Un-sure thoughts

When I first heard of putting up your middle finger, I thought it meant curing God. In 1st through 5th grade everyone believed that. If you flicked someone off, you were cursed. God was going to strike you with lighting and rain was going to burn your skin. When I got to middle school I realized that it really meant "fk you" and that if I flicked off someone the worst thing that could happen was get ISS (In school suspension) for a "sign" of profanity. Therefore I rarely flicked anyone off even when I knew the truth. Now I'm more comfortable with it, and if you tick me off you will definitely get the finger.
