Kai POV:
Today's the day. The day that I commit myself to the Overlord. I can't believe that I'm doing this. Doing this despite my instincts saying that I should try to escape from here and get back with the others. But..That would be suicide..since the Overlord is keeping a close eye on me and my movements in this cell. Besides..This place could be Booby trapped and littered with guards.
Eventually my thoughts went back to them...My "friends"..my so called family. I bet that they're having a swell time without me. Sighing...I thought back to the good times..the times that I had with them. But..those times are over. Now it's time for me to get married to a man who's trying to take over Ninjago. I looked over to the wall and noticed the dress. The dress that signals the end of my freedom.
Slowly I went back to staring at nothing. Besides it wasn't like anyone's coming to rescue me.
Lloyd POV:
We were three hours away from the castle and we were anxious. Kai was going to get married. Married to a cruel man who would take over Ninjago. Sighing...I thought back to the fun times that we had together and how we always had each other's backs. Only for him to be taken..away and touched.
"We're a couple hours away at the castle. Are you guys getting ready?" Cole asked.
"Yeah. But we should stay on our guards. Who knows what the Overlord has planned for us once we get there." Jay said.
"It doesn't matter what he has planned. We need to get my brother." Nya said.
After that..we started went back to packing the necessary supplies for the mission. Hopefully..we weren't too late or else...
Kai would be out of our reach forever.
