Kai's Unfortunate Circumstance

Stopping The Wedding Part 3

Kai POV:

When I woke up...I noticed that I was in my wedding gown that my future "husband" picked out for me. I can't believe that I was about to get married..especially to someone who kidnapped me and forced me to do things.

"I hope someone's saves me." I said to myself before I heard footsteps coming my way. As I looked past the bars..I noticed my fiancé standing there with a smirk on his face.

"Ready to get married my dear." He said.

"I would say no...but I don't really have a choice in the matter do I?" I said.

"No need for this attitude dear. Soon..We will get married and we can finally spend time together in the bedroom." He said causing memories of that punishment that he gave a while back. I felt myself start to blush, but I quickly shook that memory away. 

"Someone will come and save me from you and then....." I said before the Overlord grabbed my throat and squeezed it. 

"No one will come for you Kai. You're mine and will always be mine." He said as I started to see black spots in my vision. Before I blacked out...he dropped me and started to walk away. 

"I'll see you later my love. Until then...enjoy the last couple of hours in your cell." He said as he left me alone. I felt tears coming into my eyes as I wanted to be free. Sigh...if only I had friends or some kind of family try and save me. 

However, I am slowly losing hope that they can since the Overlord will do anything to stop anyone from reaching me. Who am I kidding? Who will rescue someone like me? I should just be quiet and go ahead with the wedding.

Never knowing the different outcomes coming my way.

Lloyd POV:

We slowly approached the Overlord's palace and noticed several guards surrounding the area. He must have known that we were coming or else he wouldn't have done this, but he could also have many surprises coming our way.

"Wow...So many guards!" Jay said.

"Focus Jay, they are just meant to try and keep us out. Though we can never know what else the Overlord has in store for us." Cole said.

"Not to mention, keeping us away from my brother." Nya said. I was about to ask how we're going to get any information before she produced a small insect drone in her hand.

"Nya, we're testing that now?" Jay asked.

"Wait...What did you guys make?" I asked.

"It was a drone that would allow us to go inside places and see the interior to know the ins and outs of any place we need to go. We were just working on it and we're going to do the finishing touches on it before Kai got taken." Nya said.

"Very practical. Though I do have concerns that it will not help us find out where Kai was located." Zane said.

"I know that this might be early, but we don't really have a choice without heading inside blind." Nya said before using the controller to drive the drone into the castle. For an evil castle, it had some nice decor despite looking evil though those feelings banished once we saw a hall decorated for a wedding.

"Gross." I stated.

"I think that Kai feels the same way." Cole said before the drone headed into a set of doors that went towards the dungeon. It was dark and had lots of dirt and blood covering the place. It looked horrible though that would be nothing compared to how Kai looked when we spotted him.

"Wow. The dungeon did not do wonders for Kai." Jay said. Kai was covered in bruises and was wearing a purple dress. He didn't look well either and seemed to be confused on what was happening.

"He looks awful and I dread to know what that monster put him through." Nya said before the drone was pulled into a random direction. That's when we came face to face with the Overlord.

"Well hello pests. Like my new bride?" He said with a mocking tone. I was about to shout at him before he started to speak again.

"You will never stop our wedding and should get ready to face the combined might of me and my future Queen." He said. 

"We will stop you and Kai will..." I started to shock before he started to laugh.

"Kai already forgot about you thanks to that potion. Now if you excuse me, I have to get ready for our wedding and our first night together." He said before crushing the drone. Leaving all of us determined to save Kai from his dark fate.

Though getting to him would be easier than convincing him to follow us.
