Kai's Unfortunate Circumstance

Lloyd POV:

We finally found the mirror that will hopefully help us find the Overlord. Unfortunately, his signature is found at 13 different locations. Which means that it'll take a little longer to save Kai then we thought. As we were going to the first location, I was stricken by memories of Kai. I really miss him and I want to tell him how I feel if we see him again. I quickly started shaking my head side to side in order to stop that thought in it's tracks. We'll see Kai again..we just have to check out 12 different locations first before finding the right one.

After a while, We arrived at the first location which was located in the middle of Ninjago. It was underground so we quickly jumped into a hole in the ground.

"Wow..I never thought that the Overlord used to hang at an underground cave." Jay Said. Nobody else said anything because of the serious nature of the task at hand. When we got to a certain point, there were 5 doors that went to unknown locations. 

"We have to split up and check these doors." Cole Said. We each went to one door and opened them up. The door that I went to had some kind of desk that has some papers on it. The papers looked awfully new due to the fact that they didn't show any signs of old age. 

"Lloyd..Have you found anything?"Nya Asked. I quickly nodded and took the papers before coming out of that room.

"The rest of the doors lead to deadends. There was no sign of Kai or anything that can help us..It was just empty cages and jail cells along with a potion closet." Jay stated.

"I found some papers that may give us some answers on why the Overlord took Kai." I Said. We quickly excited and went to the bounty where we spread these papers on the table. We were quickly looking through them when Nya stood up suddenly.

"WHO DOES THAT BASTARD THINK HE IS?" Nya yelled. The rest of us were startled by the outburst and quickly looked at each other to see who would talk next. Sadly..They choose me because of how close we are to each other.

"What's wrong Nya?" I asked.

"Read this Lloyd and you'll see why I'm upset." Nya growled. I quickly took the papers and reluctantly started to read them. By the time that I was finished, I was extremely pissed.

"What does it say Lloyd?" Zane Asked. 

"The Overlord wants Kai for a bride." I Said. I would've yelled the answer, but I felt the urge to say an endless stream of curse words. The others (except for Nya) stared at me for a moment before they fully registered what I said.

"WHAT?!" They yelled. 

"It's true. It says it all here. The Overlord wants to marry Kai because he fell in love with him at first sight. He also plans to have Kai give him some powerful children that could help him with his plans." I Said.

"B..But Kai is a guy. He can't give birth to children." Cole argued.

"You're forgetting that the Overlord knows magic. Magic that could help him achieve his goals in order to rule Ninjago." Nya stared.

"This is extremely bad. If we don't rescue Kai in time then we could possible lose him to the Overlord forever." Zane Said.

"Which means that we have to quickly check the other locations before the wedding happens. If we don't then Kai would be stuck with the Overlord forever." I Said.

The others quickly nodded and we quickly started heading out to the second location. Kai..We will save you from him..we promise to find you and bring you home to us. Just hold on for a while and keep believing in us.
