"Jesse."
"Jesse."
"Jesse, wake the fuck up you stinky --"
"Huh wha--" Jesse rubbed his eyes as his eyes is still blurry because of the restless sleep he had all night.
"Go and take a shower, it's already 9AM and you're still deadass sleeping!" Alex glared at him with a look that could wilt roses.
How come he gets extra sleep while I've been doing all the extra works?
"Get your face outta my way though, urgh. Your breath stinks." Jesse wrinkled his nose as he scoot away from Alex.
"Spoiled brat." Alex replied short and walks away with his hands in his pocket without a second glance.
Ain't gonna wake you up again, I swear to god.
Jesse watched Alex amble his way towards the another tent before he felt a sudden rush of pain pulsing on his head.
"My head hurts..." Jesse murmured while clutching his throbbing head. Never once crossed his mind that he has to deal with sleep without any pillows.
As he got out from his tent, the first thing that greeted him was the drizzle of the rain that trickles on his forehead.
"Morning Jesse, had a nice sleep?" Taylor greeted Jesse with a warm smile while tying few branches with torn up clothes.
"Could've been nice if not because of Alex. But thanks for asking, what are you doing?" Jesse ruffled his hair in annoyance and crouched beside Taylor.
"It's a smoking rack, so we can preserve any kind of meats a little longer if you know, we ever ran out of food. But since the rain has been trickling since early morning, I don't think we could use this rack, insufficient sunlight and stuff, but hey, we still have our supplies. " Taylor replied enthusiastically as he put his newly crafted smoking rack on a standing position with puffed chest.
"Wow it's just two days after the pandemic and here you are being all handy dandy. Good job, Taylor." Jesse complimented with a grin before heading off towards the nearby stream to clean himself off.

"So, what's our agenda for today?" Jesse asked while walking towards the campfire area, where the boys are grouped while ruffling his hair to dry.
"We're gonna get some new clothes, this school uniform isn't suitable for surviving zombie apocalypse." Dale answered while his eyes still glued to the map, focusing on what Jesse has marked on the map during his nightwatch yesterday.
We're also gonna find food and fuels to store." Taylor continued.
"Let's haul ass everyone." Alex said while getting up.
🦇
"Damn look at all those zombies...the world is indeed going crazy...." Dale muttered in a slow voice while his eyes were glued at the horde infested beach.
The undead roamed lifelessly around the blood coated sand. Some of what might seems like human carcasses are left to rot here and there. The sound of their car attracted the attention of some of the infected as they started to limp their way towards the direction of the sound, but too slow to catch up.
"Hey Taylor wanna fight who's the best at shooting?" Alex suddenly challenged Taylor who were also gazing at the horrifying view.
"You sure you can catch up on my skills?" Taylor rolled his eyebrows like a wave.
"Catch up? I'm already above you --"
"Guys don't be stupid, you all are just wasting your ammos." Jesse interrupted Alex, his lips pulling into a snarl.
