I know that the video has nothing to do with TWD BUT IT'S SO AMAZING UGH OMG FANGIRLING

If you want to see it on YouTube actually. Look up "Harry Potter So Cold" and a video that looks like that should come up along with some others of the same title.

Twenty or so minutes later the entire group was in an animate conversation on what would've happened to the world if it hadn't ended in 2011.

"No, we'd probably be at IPhone number ten or something," Glenn argued.

"We'd be past IPhones, I bet we'd have hologram phones or something," Carl wondered aloud.

"We weren't gonna be that far advanced. Were we, Eugene?" I asked, prompting the rest of the group to look at him too.

He forced his arms behind his back and clasped his hands together. "Probably not, Jade... but I think we'd be teetering on mass production of cellular telephones that had the waning possibility of being nearly holographic. Furthermore, I believe that with the technology advancing so quickly back then - especially in the world of telephones - that engineers may have figured out a way to invent semi-holographic cellular phones. However!" He stuck his right pointer finger in the air "That does not mean I'm there would be a large manufacture of said telephone. That, I think, would not yet have been achieved."

Once he noticed our confused expressions he simplified it a little for us... which meant that he said the exact same thing, but not as quickly. I mean, when Eugene went on about something like that he spoke so fast we weren't sure if it was even English, let alone comprehendible.

"So, that's a big fat yes!" Carl shouted with glee and that huge adorable smile. Seriously Jade, cut it out with all of that lovey dove shit. Put on your game face - this is the apocalypse damnit.

"Whatever!" Carol laughed.

"Now come on, we have to go," Rick told us while adjusting his bag.

There were seventeen of us, including Judith. We had three cars, one of which could only hold two people. You can see our issue. We figured that Daryl could drive the pickup and Rick would be in the passenger seat holding Judith. Sasha, Tyreese, Bob, Abraham, Rosita, Tara and Eugene could take one minivan. And Michonne, Maggie, Glenn, Tom, Sheriff, Carol and I would take the SUV. Unfortunately, we had no room for the food, but we the pickup came with a trunk type called the bonnet. So we could put most of our stuff in there.

In twenty or so minutes we were on the road heading for North Carolina. Carol drove with Tom in the passenger seat, Maggie and Glenn sat in the middle holding hands in between the space. Michonne sat on the left, Carl in the middle and me to the right.

We sat in silence for a while and I was completely bored out of my mind. I lost my bag full of books and memories in the hustle to get out of Terminus. I already had my fathers dog tags on, so those were still in my possession, but my family photos and stuffed animal my brother got me were gone. When I found out I was heart broken, but forced myself to get over it quickly. What sucks was that I also had a bunch of books in the bag to pass time.

Luckily, throughout all of the houses on the street that I raided, I found three books that looked good The Princesses of Iowa, Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone (book one), and Struck By Lightning. I opened up The Princesses of Iowa and started to read the book that pulled me into their world. It's hard to think that five years ago this book would be pretty relatable to readers and now it's like a fantasy book to me. I'd relate to books about zombies. I fell in love with the characters quickly and got excited at each cute part. I was a little more than halfway through the book when I started to get a little uncomfortable with my sitting position. I shifted in my seat a little, I guess Carl noticed because he started to smirk a little and put his hand on my knee.

I got an idea then. I raised both of my feet and sat Indian style. I looked at Sheriff to ask if he was okay because my left leg was covering a large part of his right one, he just smiled with no teeth at me and closed his eyes to sleep again. I decided to also sleep considering I wanted to volunteer for watch tonight. Since I'd been in a coma for a couple weeks, I hadn't really pulled my weight around here. Besides, I didn't have a problem with pulling an all nighter.

When they woke me up again the only thing providing light was the full moon. Sheriff took my hand and led me out of the car because I was still half asleep. I leaned on him as four of us cleared the small house. We all stepped inside and situated ourselves. Rick fed Judith and burped her afterward.

Day turned into night quickly. I stepped outside into the cold air. I shivered before hearing the door behind me open. As you may have guessed, it was Carl.

"Hey," I said as he wrapped a blanket around me and zipped up his jacket.

"Hey, Zombie Slayer," he smiled at me adorably and I snorted a laugh in return.

"I thought you'd be too tired and forget that." I blushed at the memory of his fingers on my waist.

"Nope, I remember all of it. I don't think I'm a tease for your information."

I threw my head back as I laughed, "Oh, you're a tease one hundred percent. And you also need to find a new nickname for me, cause Zombie Slayer is not cutting it." I informed him sarcastically.

"Alright, that's been taken into consideration." He reached over and took my hand.

"Besides, I'd rather be a vampire slayer than a zombie slayer."

"Buffy," Carl said quietly to himself. Who the hell is Buffy? Is that like an old band name or something?

"Who?"

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer? They were movies, books and a tv show. It was about a teenage girl that killed vampires. My old babysitter watched it."

"Buffy," I threw it out there to see how it sounded.

"Buffy," he echoed.

"I think I like it. It's cute - has meaning." I smiled to myself and stared into the darkness listening for sounds of walkers.

"Carl, get in here and go to sleep. I said five minutes," Rick poked his head out of the front door and instructed quietly.

Carl made sure his dad wasn't looking at us and pecked me on the lips. He apologized for not being able to stay out with me.

"It's fine, go sleep. I'll sleep in the car tomorrow, alright?"

"Okay," he mumbled. "Daryl will be out later to take your place."

At around three in the morning Daryl lived up to what Carl said and walked out of the house. He took my chair, I insisted on giving him the blanket even though he refused at first. I walked back into the house almost falling over because of how tired in was. Soon enough I saw an empty couch in a room with an old dresser with pictures in it. Again I thought of the people that must be dead now, either at peace or walking around searching for humans to consume.

I plopped myself down and fell right asleep. A few minutes later I heard my new nickname being whispered. They was a little shuffling and somebody walked into the doorway.

"Buffy?" The voice asked.

"Right here," my own voice whispered. There was more shuffling before he launched his body over mine so we were spooning like we always did. The couch was just big enough for the two of us.

I hadn't slept better in the longest time.
