Eureka's POV

I'VE SEEN ADVANCE technological rooms in movies, like NASA headquarters or Japan's, but I've never seen one with my own bare eyes. Not until now...

Nakatulala ako habang pinagmamasdan ang napakagandang silid ng 'di matatawarang mga teknolohiya. The ceiling was designed with lights and unfamiliar devices. The walls were, I think, made of rubber and high quality metals that made the surface soundproof. The floor was smooth, made of white tiles. The large panels detailed with colorful buttons occupied the majority of the room. Also, there are huge monitors with blank screens installed on the walls. And at the center, a cylindrical (with approximately 10 meter diameter, 6 feet height) platform was placed. I don't know what's the purpose of that platform. It piqued my curiosity. But above all, this secret room is so awesome! An entire laboratory of technology, or a big vault with first-class devices inside!

So, this is the brain of Atlantis.

We wandered around the room. Kung saan-saan lumilipad at paningin ko at 'di ko maiwasang mamangha sa bawat bagay na aking nakikita.

"Woah. Ang cool nito!" sambit ni Neil.

Lahat kami ay nabaling ang atensyon sa monitor na iyon. Lumapit kami kay Mr. Landers at nakatingalang pinagmasdan ang pagi-glitch ng malaking screen. Flash! Matapos ang glitching, biglang lumitaw sa screen ang napakaraming frames ng iba't ibang footages (almost a hundred), at bawat isang footage ay nasa magkakaibang lugar. Mga pamilyar na lugar.

"What is this?" Zharina mumbled.

Then Suzy suddenly talked, pointing to one of the footages on screen. "Ah, Neil! 'Di ba doon tayo nanggaling kanina?"

Pagtukoy ni Suz sa isang footage kung saan naka-flash sa monitor ang isang bakanteng kwarto na may patusok-tusok na kisame. That's scary. Sinong tao ang gagawa ng silid na may iron spikes sa ceiling? Nakita ko rin sa isang footage ang silid na napuntahan namin ni Ele, 'yung silid na may dambuhalang letrang A (na gawa sa bato). Hindi lang 'yon, marami pang lugar na naka-display sa screen ang naaalala kong nadaanan na namin.

Neil agreed. "Oo nga 'no? Paanong..."

"I think I have an idea what this is," Ele abruptly stated, looking at the big screen. "I'm pretty sure that behind these footages, surveillance cameras were installed and well functioning. Obviously."

"Cameras?" Neil exclaimed. "You're right. Whomever built this room, they probably hid random cameras within this city to monitor each and every area of Atlantis."

"Clever," Mr. Landers muttered. "Now I know why were Atlanteans envied by the gods. False gods, I mean, according to the myth."
