It was a normal day for Natalie running errands for David, so when she got a free moment she took advantage of it. She got comfortable on the couch since no one was home, put on a movie and grabbed some nut thins to snack on. Unfortunately her silence in the house didn't last long as David, Jeff, Jonah, and Jason all walked into the house.
"Hey Natalie," Jonah said walking to sit on the couch too.
"Hey Jonah. How was filming today?" she asked. She looked around the room to check on what the other guys were doing, hoping she didn't have to talk to Jonah for long, but they were all in the kitchen talking quietly with each other.
Jonah shrugged, "Same shit, different day." Natalie just nodded and didn't say anything else. It was silent for a couple minutes before Jason called her over to them, she stood up quickly thankful for the excuse to leave the couch.
"What do you guys need? Chipotle?" she questioned as she got to them but they just shook their heads. David and Jason looked at Jeff waiting for him to speak. He sighed before turning to Natalie nervously fiddling with his fingers, "Do you want to get some dinner with me?"
She was confused, why was he so nervous about asking that? They had gone out to dinner just the two of them plenty of times before.
"Of course, where do you want to go?" she asked hoping she didn't have to change out of her sweatshirt and leggings. He smiled before saying, "It's a surprise but we have to go right now." He started walking towards the door before she stopped him, "Don't I have to change my clothes first?"
He looked at what she was wearing before shaking his head, "You look perfect to me, let's go." She blushed as he grabbed her hand and they walked out to his car. The car ride was filled with them jamming out to their favorite songs, there was never an awkward moment between the two of them. As they got closer to where they were going Natalie noticed they were heading towards the beach.
She was confused, "I thought we were going to dinner?" The beach isn't somewhere you just go to eat. He took a quick glance at her with a smile, "We are." He didn't say anything more about it as they parked on the side of the road. He jogged to her side of the vehicle after he got out to open the door for her. "Thank you," she was blushing hardcore and it only made his smile even bigger.
Jeff took her hand, "Our dinner for tonight is this way, just follow me." They both took their shoes off to walk through the sand. When Jeff brought her closer to where they would be eating, she gasped. There was a blanket spread out on the sand with a picnic basket and candles surrounding it. Natalie had never had someone do something this nice for her.
Jeff tried reading her facial expressions as she looked around the area, he really wanted her to like it. She looked over at him and noticed how nervous he looked, "I love it, Jeff, thank you." She walked over and gave him the tightest hug ever, she was incredibly thankful for him. After he wrapped his arms around her, she leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and watched as his cheeks slowly turned red.
They walked over and took a seat on the blanket and started to take the food out, "Did you make all of this food?" Jeff shook his head very quickly before admitting, "I am a terrible cook, I postmated all of this." Natalie let out a huge laugh which made Jeff laugh too. They had small conversations throughout the time it took to eat their dinner, now they just sat next to each other basking in the sunset.
"Thank you again for this, it means a lot to me," she said turning her head to see Jeff already looking at her. He just smiled and shook his head as if it was no big deal. When he looked back at her he noticed she never took her eyes off him. His face started to get very red and then she asked, "Can I kiss you?" The question took him by surprise and it took him a moment to get his thoughts together.
He didn't even answer her as he started to lean in. When their lips met it was the best feeling they had felt, they couldn't help the smiles that appeared on their faces causing them to break the kiss. It was the perfect setting for their first kiss, and it certainly wouldn't be the last kiss they shared that night as they laid there cuddled up underneath the stars.
