When two worlds Collide

"No!!!!" I tried to jerk the police's hand away. He gripped my hand tightly. Anger rushed through me as tears spring down me eyes.

The red color rising in flame as it burned our house. "Let go!" I cried in pain. I had lost everything, my life, my house, and my parents. What am I going to do? I don't have any family members in this country. I don't have anybody. Their going to send me to an orphanage. No! This can't happen.

I turned and kicked the police in his private part. I ran as fast as I could.

"Ay! Come back!" He screamed in pain.

I could hear him say "Backup! I need backup! This is officer Brock."

I kept running and running and I could hear footsteps following me. "Go away!" I yelled back. I spott an area with an unused building. I ran as fast as I could as I breathed harder. There was no way they were going to take me. Finally I was able to hide behind a wall whered they couldn't see me.

"Erin! Erin!" They called. I quickly snuck out from their backs and ran till I couldn't hear them anymore. Then I found a hole to the building and hid there. This was the day I decided to leave everything behind-the day I decided to be alone forever.

I paced back & forth. "Why do we have to talk about this now dad?"

"This is your future, Josh." He put down his coffee. "The next generation of Romel's Insitute!" He smiled with joy.

"What if I don't what that to be my future? What if I want something else?" I hate it when he tells what my next life would be. I don't want him to decide for me.

"Josh Rommel! This is a family tradition, it is my duty to pass it on to you." He raged in anger.

"But-" He cut me off.

"No buts! You are going to be mature in this situation. You might as well take this as a prevelidge." He humphed and left the room.

I'm not going to be forced to do something I don't want to do. Adrenaline pumped into my brain. I've never felt like this with so much anger. That's it! I need to get myself together. I went to my room and grabbed a suitcase under my bed-finally when i needed it for emergencies. I opened my closet and grabbed a whole bunch of clothes. I quickly stuff them in my suitcase. I snuck into my dad's office and opened a drawer revealing his wallet. I look around,grabbed I snatched a wad of cash.

I grabbed my suitcase and headed down stairs. Everyone was asleep. I knew the doors were secured and armed so I went to the kitchen and snuck out through a window. I fell into the bushes with my luggage.

I picked up my luggage and sat on the sidewalk. I called a taxi cab and it came few minutes later. I look back at my house one more time.

"Goodbye mom & dad." I sighed and got inside the cab. I watched the side mirror and kept looking at our house until I couldn't see it's tiny figure anymore.
