Vien's Pov:

What. Did. I. Just. Read?!

Siren.... Kappa.... My ship.... Ruined because of that queen....

HIS BACK GOT SLASHED! SLASHED!

I'm just going to go cry myself to sleep....

I look out my window first.

Shooting star? Guess I should make a wish...

"I wish Kappa and Siren could just, be together!"

Time to cry myself to sleep.

"How long was she there for?!"

"Did she hear any of what we said?"

"She don't look like one of ours... maybe an intruder?"

"I've never seen that type of fish before... and I've seen plenty"

Someone is poking my face...

"Mhnnn" I groan.

Since when did my bed feel like sand?

"H-hey! Wake up!" A warm voice says.

"Five more minutes"

The poking doesn't stop.

"Agh! Fine! FINE! I'm getting up!" I open my eyes....

To find a certain blue-hair shark looking at me with wide eyes.

I'm dreaming. Why couldn't this be real?

Siren has a horrified look in his eyes, "Who are you?! How much did you hear?!"

Too vivid for a dream...

I use my nail to slice at my arm, not enough to draw blood, but enough to feel the pain.

There goes my dream theory... Time for plan B.

I start to hyperventilate and panic. Before I know it, I start to faint from the lack of oxygen.

Hopefully I'll have an idea on what to do when I wake up.

Everything fades to black.

Kappa's Pov:

The girl faints, perhaps out of surprise. I have no clue on what to do.

What. Is. Going. On?

Siren and I were just talking casually when the topic of The Plan came up. We were thinking of ways to escape, but then I noticed her floating down to the bottom. Did she hear any of what we said? I'm in big trouble if she did... and Siren... what will they do to him if they realized he betrayed them? I'm the reason for all this worry. I don't deserve a friend like Siren.

"Is... is she dead?"

"N-no, she's still breathing. Just fainted."

"Oh my god, Siren what are we gonna do?! She's going to figure out everything! She's going to wonder why you were talking to me instead of killing me! Wait! What if she came here for me?!"

I. Am. Panicking.

"For now we should.... we should.... OH! We should tie her up! We can't let anyone find out about her, she might tell everyone that I was talking to you! When you saw her, was she conscious?"

"Uhm, I'm not sure, I saw her floating down from the top, maybe she heard somethings and then fainted?" I reply.

Siren grabs a few seaweeds and ties her to the bars on my cell.

"We should cover her mouth so that she doesn't try to scream, right?" Siren asks.

I nod, though the fact that this seems like we kidnapped her runs in my mind.

Siren's Pov:

She stirs conscious and I jump in surprise. It's been 5 minutes since we tied her up, and my head is spinning with thoughts on how to manage this situation. She is tied to the bars and facing me, so that she can't see Kappa, who is hiding as best as he could in one of the far corners, my request.

We already have a stranger who might have over heard us, we don't need her to see Kappa to make sure.

She opens her eyes, and is flabbergasted when she looks around.

"OH COME ON! Tying me up? Really?" She bites at the seaweed and tries to tear it up. Guess it didn't do enough to stop her from talking.

"Hey! Stop! Or I'll be forced to use force!" Forced to use for- I can't speak properly with all this happening.

She looks at me with puzzle.

"Siren?"

VIen's Pov:

I wake up to the taste of sea weed. My hands are tied behind me and it's quite uncomfortable. I bite off the seaweed from my mouth so that I can talk. Siren stares at me in shock. The setting looks like the dungeon of the castle. So, Kappa must be here, right?

Look at me, I'm thinking about if Kappa is here instead of thinking on why I AM here.

"How did I get here?" Wait...

No way...

"The shooting star..."

"I made a wish on the star, there is no other way for me to be here."

Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on! That has no scientific explanation! I need a more sensible answer!

"...Star?" Siren looks puzzled, I guess he never saw stars since he was always underwater.

Wait.

I am underwater then.

But I'm breathing air.

I realize something terrible.

I can't split my feet apart, and I doubt it's because of the easily taken off seaweed.

I dare a glance down.

"I hAVe a FUdGiNg taIL!"

A. PURPLE. SCALE-Y. SHINY. TAIL.

The tail ends at my waist and the ends of my hair float around me.

I look behind me to the cell where Kappa probably is.

The goldfishy boi pokes his head out from the sad excuse of hiding behind a rock that barely covers him in his cage.

"Kappa? Siren? You guys are supposed to be in a webtoon! Not in real life!"

Siren lowers his brows and frowns while saying, "Who are you?"

"Vien, my name is Vien."

"What are you doing here? Are you trying to take the Beacon? Don't even try! Y-you're surrounded! There are guards waiting to take you outside the dungeon!" Siren says while ignoring the fact that I'm free from the seaweed now.

What he said is false. If Castle Swimmer has taught me anything, it's that Siren isn't a good liar. Plus, the dungeons have no guards around them, otherwise, Siren wouldn't have been able to come chat with Kappa so many times.

I realize that they are probably worried that I figured out Siren isn't going to kill Kappa, since they were talking to each other when I woke up, not fighting. Or maybe they think what happened with the Barracudas is happening with me? Wait, what part of the story am I in? Did the barracudas scene even happen yet? Does Skiff still have a scar-less face?

That means Siren still hasn't jumped in front of Kappa to save him from the queen... and they still don't know the truth about the prophecy.

Should I tell them?
