Gajeel's POV

Mirajane had looked so sad, that I had actually taken pity on her. I've gotten so soft since I joined Fairy Tail, not in strength of course! I've never battled better, but I feel as if my personality has changed.... ever since.. No.. That's impossible. Totally ridiculous! I'm now back in the room that Mirajane had instructed me to stay in until she would come get me. It's dark and I sit on the floor with my back against the wall and the moonlight seeping through the windows. I sigh, I've been alone pretty much all day, after Natsu and Jellal left, Juvia didn't seem very keen on making conversations. And then Lyon showed up, bashing on Gray. I should have said something to Juvia about Gray. How he actually loves her and he just tries to not make it obvious. Even though it's obvious. I hear the door creak open suddenly and I jump in surprise. Standing there baked in the light from the moon is Levy. Her blue spiky hair is all messy and her orange dress is a little crinkled. She looks tired... and to be honest, never better.

"Oh.." She says, her mouth moving slowly.

"Hey." I nod at her and she hides her face behind her hair.

"I was just looking for Lu-chan." She goes to leave the room but I quickly get up to my feet.

"Lucy left... with Natsu." I stand directly behind her and she still has her gaze locked on the floor.

"Wait... with Natsu? As in... WITH?" She turns around swiftly and her eyes are as wide as saucers.

"As in with, shrimp." I smile, god... she's so adorable.

"What?"

"What?"

"Who's adorable?" Her eyes are puzzled.
I feel my face heat up. I said that out loud?!

"Um!!! Not you!!!" I want to punch myself in the face. "I mean!! Your adorable! But I wasn't talking... about you!! I was talking about.... Lily! Yeah! Lily!" I manage to stammer out. I feel like such an idiot! Hopefully she didn't actually hear me HEAR me. I can still feel my face is red and I rub the back of my neck, trying to keep from making eye contact with her. God, I swear this just ruined everything.

"Pfffft!!! Ahahaaa!" Levy is giggling and she ends up laying on the floor in her laughter. Oh god, I drew her insane.

"Levy! I'm so sorry!"I face palm my forehead. I'm such an idiot!

"Oh Gajeel.." She's stopped laughing and is standing directly in front of me, biting her lip and blushing. I don't know.. what this feeling is... but I don't know if I'll be able to hold it back much longer if she keeps staring at me with that look on her face.
