you always seem to be stuck, don't you?
whether it's with what words to use,
or what tasks to complete,
mixed phrases circle around you,
so many to choose.
a poet must be strong,
but have the elegance to succeed.
the poet must be ready,
because anything can be.
a poet has to choose,
between the ones she loves deepest.
will she take flight on her own,
and keep her own secrets?
or will the poet take only one,
to see the morning sun?
