The next day....
I wake up snuggled into someone's chest. I flutter my eyes open to see a familiar looking tatoo..oh yeah, Matt. Then I smile aganist his chest.
"You're so beautiful." Matt says making me jump a little. Then Matt chuckles & says "Did I scare you?"
"Yeah, you did." I say putting a hand over my heart.
"Well we don't have a show until later, so what do you want to do today?" Matt asks.
"What do you want to do today?"
"I don't know....that's kind of why I asked you...."
"Oh, well I bet I can totally kick your butt at COD." I say confidentley.
"Oh really?" Matt asks raising an eyebrow. "Is that a challenge?"
"Why yes, yes it is."
"You're on."
"Gladly." I say. Then I get up, greb some clothes, toliteries, & head to the bathroom.
I do my morning routine (brush teeth, wash face, use the bathroom), take a shower, & get dressed. Today I wear black leggings, a black half shirt with the word 'broken' on the front in white lettering, a black tank top to go under the shirt, & black uggs. As i'm on my way to the 'living room' to kick ass in COD, something catches my eye. Jack is in his bunk, with a razor blade in his hand. I silently walk in.
"Jack, what are you doing?" I ask walking in.
"Why do you care?" Jack asks shifting uncomfortabally.
"Because I do. If I didn't care, do you honestly think i'd be standing here right now?" I ask.
Jack remains silent.
"Thought so. Anyways, don't do this. You're hurting yourself & if something bad happens, everything that you've worked for will be destroyed. You do realize that, right?"
"Well, I didn't really think about that." Jack says.
"Why are you cutting, Jack?"
"Because, I don't have anything to live for, & the person that i'm love is with someone else." Jack says looking me dead in the eye.
For some reason, I have a bad feeling about what he just said...
"What do you mean 'you have nothing to live for' ? & if you don't mind me asking, who is this person you're in love with? I'm sure you'll fall for other people."
"But those people aren't you." Jack says looking down.
"Wait, what? What do you mean?"
"Do I have to spell it out for you?" Jack asks laughing a little. "I'm in love with you. But you're with Matt, so it doesn't matter."
What.The.Fuck.
"Um, wow, I uh, don't know what to say back." I say nervously.
"Exactly, this is the reason why i'm cutting. Because I knew you wouldn't feel the same way back."
"Dude, don't cut because of me & my dumb ass, alright? You deserve someone you can love that loves you back. I love you, but Im not in love with you. Please dude, stop cutting, you're only hurting yourself."
"I guess you're right, i'll stop, for you."
"Yay! Awesome. Well i'm going to go kick Matt's ass in COD, I'll be in the living room if you need me." I say getting up & walking to the living room.
