"Was loveing me really that bad?" Jeremy asks.
"Obviously!" I say.
"Im sorry, Patrice."
"Whatever. Let's just forget this even happened." I say attempting to rip the note, only to get it snatched by Jeremy.
"NO. I'm never forgetting this." Jeremy says with a look of determination on his face.
"Fine. Have it your way. It doesn't mean anything anymore."
& that's when Jeremy completely snaps...
***Present Time***
"What do you mean it doesn't mean anything anymore? Of course if fucking means something, Patrice! How could you even stand there and say that right now?" Jeremy yells.
"Because Jeremy! I'm not in love with you anymore, so I don't see how it matters!" I yell back.
"What don't you understand, Patrice? It's pretty fucking obvious how I feel about you!"
"No! It isn't!"
Just then Matt walks in & says "I bought Chinese!" with a big smile on his face.
"Not now, Matt!" I say.
Matt raises his hand in defense & backs away into another room.
"How is it so hard to undertsnad, Patrice?" Jeremy asks softly looking at me with hurt filled eyes.
"You confuse me sometimes, Jeremy. I'm sorry I don't understand." I say.
"Well, when you do, we can talk about this. But right now I gotta go." Jeremy says. Then he gives me a big hug, whispers "I might feel the same way." winks, & walks out the house.
"Sooooo....are you going to explain what just happened?" Matt says with a sly grin on his face.
"It's a long story. But i'll explain." I say.
Matt nods & closely sits next to me on the couch hugging me into his chest.
"So, in 7th grade I was madly in love with Jeremy. I wrote a note & never gave it to him. He reccentley found it, & now he's confusing me." I say.
"Not really a long story to me." Matt says jokingly.
I punch his arm playfully & laugh.
"He can love you all he wants. I'm never letting anyone steal you away from me."
"I know right? 'Cause I'm like irresistable." I say with a cocky smirk.
Matt shakes his head playfully at me & says "Oh, yeah. I meant to tell you! Brian wants you to come over to his."
"Like now?"
"Only if you promise to come back."
"Why wouldn't I come back & see your adorable dimpled smile?" I say flashing a dazzling smile.
"I'll see you later babe." Matt says kissing the top of my forehead.
"Later." I say. Then I drive to Brian's house jamming to Black Veil Brides' new album "Wretched & Divine". It's actually FANTABULOUS! I mean, not that I expected it to suck or anything. But it's just like WHOAH!
