I felt the bed sink as if someone just laid with me. I slowly open my eyes and see Michael looking at me and let out a small laugh. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well, you know my parents were in a mood fo--" "Michael! You know I didn't mean it like that." I said covering myself with a blanket. He laugh and pulled down the blanket a little just at least my face was showing. "I was kidding, I just woke up early this morning thinking there was school today but I realized it was Saturday." He answered my question. "And it's ten in the morning and you are still sleeping?" He asked pretending to be in shock. "Yes, only because you couldn't stop texting last night. " I said still laying in bed. Michael sat up. "Oh, I caught your parents and Sam leaving, they said they were abandoning you." Michael said. I hit a pillow at him making us both laugh. "But seriously, they left to Samatha's volleyball game at Claremont School." Michael said. "Oh, and I kind of told your mom that we made plans for today." He added. I cover my face with my hands. "But you know I love watching Sam playing volleyball!" I reminded him but I didn't really mind. I put my hands down and I look at him. "And we did?" I ask about the we made plans part. If we did then I' might've been to tired to remember anything we talked about over text. "No, but I did." He said with a smile. He laid next to me again. He turned his head to look at me. "I was wondering if you would want to go have lunch at Floyd's Diner then catch an early movie then dinner at Black Olive." He said playing with my hand. "Sounds nice." I nod. Are we a couple?, I asked myself. "I'm still tired." I said and yawned, resting my head on chest. He wrapped his arm around me. "Do you have any fears?" He asked softly, changing the subject like he always does. "Um, yeah." I answered. "What is it?" He asked. "Um, well I think this will sound stupid but letting someone down and losing a loved one." I answered one of his questions again. "What about you?" I asked. "The same." He answered.
I loved this dude and it's not really the kind of love that you say about a boyfriend, I loved him as a friend, best friend to be exact. I could talk about anything and everything with him without getting judged. I love when he teases. I love when we wants to spend time with me.
"You should get ready. I'll wait downstairs." Michael said giving me a kiss on the cheek before getting up and walked out of my room. I got out of bed and took some clothes out of my dresser then walking to the bathroom across the hall to take a shower.
//
"You look lovely." Michael said when I sat on the couch after I gotten ready. "You're so nice." I said and smiled. "You ready to go?" He asked. I nodded and got up again. I grab my handbag and jacket then walked outside with him following behind me. I walked to his truck and got in. I set my bag on the floor of the truck. He drove off after turning on his truck and buckle in his seatbelt.
"I still can't get over the fact that you thought Kaitlyn was a rich kid." Michael laughed. I slightly hit his arm then of course, he over exaggerates saying that I have him a bruise and his arm is probably broken. I shake my head and held in my laugh. This has been the great three and a half weeks of my life, I'm serious.
//
"That was good." Michael said finishing his meal. I took a last bite of mine, "yes, it was." I said wiping my face with a napkin. The waiter came and asked if he wanted anything else, but Michael told her he wanted the bill. I admire his kindness towards me. In school he talks to other guys who try to do 'funny businesses', as he would call it, to quit it or he'll get his dog to bite of their private parts. Kind of scary but I guess he's looking after me. I stood up. "Where you going?" Michael said. "To the bathroom." I answered. "I'll be back don't worry." I added.

[Michael]

"Alright." I said watching Lily make her way to the back. I wait patiently. The waiter comes with the bill. Sixteen dollars and sixty three cents. I play with the little paper for a bit. I took out my phone and unlock it by pressing my pin. I go on twitter and look at tweets.
I've been sitting on this table for ten minutes, I wonder what's going on with Lily. I get up and walk to the cashier and pay for our lunch. I walk to the back and knock on the ladies bathroom door. "Lily, are you okay in there?" I ask. I wait and some lady walks out of the bathroom. "Sorry." I said stepping aside. I wait by the bathroom for another three minutes. I walk back to the cashier and ask if she could go in and see if Lily is ok. I give her the description of her so she knows who I am talking about.
I waited by the bathroom and she comes out again. "I'm sorry but she's not in there." She said. You got to be kidding me.
