Unknown Reasons [Michael Clifford]

Chapter Ten.

[Michael]

My father got a call again. He looked at me and indicated me to follow him. We left my mother in the hotel room. He walked over to my truck. I get my keys out of my pocket and passed it to him once we get in the truck. I still have no idea what's going on. He's still talking on the phone. It made me feel jumpy and scared.

"They think they know who has her." He said to me then drove off. "Now, Michael, we don't know what expect." He says to me and I just nod. All I just want to do is take her home. Either home to her family or home to lay her to rest.

I see a mixture of FBI's and RCMP's surrounding this house. We were far from the city. We were in the middle of no where but seen a couple of houses.

I tried running toward the house but I get stopped. I just try to look inside. I didn't know what to expect really right now. My mind just went crazy. Thought around my head.
I see some FBI's and RCMP's going in the house.

[ Lily ]

I see shadows from the little crack from the bottom of the door. I hold the baby close to me. I don't know why but I don't want this little baby to get hurt.

The door opens hard. It made me close my eyes and hold on to the baby a little tighter. I felt soft hands helping me up. I looked and seen all these police around. I hand the baby to one of the females. "Take her, please." I say. I'm still terrified.

I looked back to the lady and see that she had dead. I don't know the reason why and how.

I get escorted out the house. It was almost morning. It wasn't bright out and it wasn't dark. I look at the person next to me. I slightly hear her say that what could be "Well get to the hospital." or "well let you go to the hospital".

I feel arms wrapped around me. I was scared for a moment until I looked up at him. I hugged him so tight that I think he could not breathe. I don't really know if he's saying anything.

[Michael]

"Lily!!" I shout and ran to her once I saw her. I didn't let these officers stop me. When I got close I hugged her tight right away.
"Lily! I'm so sorry!". I kept repeating. "They'll going to take you to the hospital right away. Ok? You'll be fine. I'm here. You'll see your family and they'll all be happy." I say. I was just so happy to see her alive. But I'm going to kill that bastard who kidnapped her.

I see Lily crying. "Everything will be alright now, ok?" I say looking at her. She looked at me with a blank expression. She's traumatized, I thought to myself.
I walk with her to the ambulance and look back to see the paramedics take a body, that was on a stretcher, covered with a sheet, out of the house. I right away thought, that bastard deserved this. Only to find the other guys bring another person in a stretcher covered with a sheet as well from the bushes from the side of the house. What the hell happened?
