Lisa approached the two violinists with a big smile on his face. Her heart was pounding loudly and she was feeling her face getting red, but due to her skin colour only her cheeks was turning red.
Brett tried to look at her and pretend it was everything okay. He had been almost stalking her on social media being curious about how she looked like, since he didn't had the chance to see her face during the interview. Just like he had seen in her photos: for some reason she looked like indian. Maybe mixed cultures in her family? Probably. Brett went to take a second look and saw freckles on her already red cheeks which he found it cute.
"Hey! What a wonderful surprise!" Lisa giggled while she sat next to Eddy who offered her the place.
"Y-you were the one who caught us by surprise" Brett managed to say this words. "We thought you wouldn't be around here"
"I really forgot to tell you during the interview but i guess i was too nervous"
"It's okay don't worry! You are here, which means it will be easier to contact you!" said Eddy cheerfully.
"Thank you so much for accepting me! I was about to send you some other design that I've been working on" she then picks her phone and sends it.
Brett went to his phone to look at it. Eddy did the same.
"Woah! It's amazing!"
"Just need to fix some things, tho"
"Nah, it's good just like this" said Brett.
Brett gave a big smile while looking at the design. He then looked at her who's smile was melting his heart. He noticed she was wearing a necklace. It was indeed different from everything he had seen. He concentrated at it while she was drinking her bubble tea. It wasn't a mistake: she was wearing a necklace with a ring on it.
*stupid, I will never reach her* Brett's thoughts were grewing wild at this situation. *honestly what would be the odds? I don't know her*
The next moments Brett avoided to talk, Eddy understood something was not right, so he managed to find an excuse for them to go. Lisa went to her place and Brett breathed in relieve.
"Bro, what happened?" Eddy started.
"Nothing"
"Yeah, I can tell" Brett understood his ironic tone.
"I'm just tired. Maybe I need to rest"
Brett didn't want to say anything. Why would he cared about for a girl who doesn't know him "personally" or vice-versa? Why would he cared that she is in a relationship? These questions were getting him even more puzzled.
