"What should I wear? What should I wear?" Lisa was freaking out.

"I think that blue dress suits you" said her roommate who just passed by her bedroom.

"What?" Lisa got back to reality. All of her thoughts about being with Brett at the party made her not be able to hear what Samanta was talking about.

"The blue dress" she simply said.

Lisa felt she had solved all of her problems. Making a decision while being nervous was not a simple task for her "Thank you so much" was all she could say while she gave her a genuine smile.

Later on, Lisa went for the restaurant Eddy had suggested. The place was huge, fancy and smelled delicious.

There was the probability of Eddy being late because Brett was alone while talking with the waiter about the table they made the reservation. He then sat at the table and looked at his phone as a distraction while he was deciding whether or not he should unbutton a bit his shirt.

Her nerves were consuming, specially after accepting her feelings. He was looking very handsome. Dressing a bit formal but not that much, it was the perfect balance "I wonder how would he smell. Oh come on! You are freaking out!" she thought.

Lisa went to meet him, finally with some courage, but someone she recognized stood in front of Brett. Someone like Amanda.

Brett's attitude towards her was basically avoiding eye contact and could feel a bit of annoyance in his face. He was not in the mood to be around Amanda. Lisa took a deep breath filling up some self-esteem she had left and moved towards the table.

"Hey there!" was the only thing she could say in front of Brett "Excelent start" she thought.

Brett on the other hand saw Lisa and gave her a genuine smile. His cheeks started to get red as he realized she looked beautifull to him. "Blue suits her well" he thought. He didn't care for once if he was smiling to Lisa, specially in front of Amanda.

"Lisa you're here! Please sit" he said pointing towards a sit.

Amanda wasn't enjoying this situation. Seeing them kissing on both cheeks, she almost lost the temper. Luckily for Brett, Eddy arrived with Sophie. Neither of them liked Amanda from the start and now specially after what happened at the park, so she remained silent throughout the whole dinner.

Without Amanda's voice ruining the evening, the dinner was going really well and Eddy was happy to see Brett and Lisa getting along.

After dinner, they went for a bar with a small dance floor. It seemed somehow like a disco. The environment was welcoming and comfy. They all sat at a table where Ray and Olaf were already settled. After greeting everyone, they orderered some drinks and Sophie asked Lisa:

"Lisa I'm going to the bathroom, you wanna come?"

"Yeah sure!" she was feeling part of their group and that make her happy.

Eddy understood Sophie wanted to talk with Lisa, so he let her be. He knew she had the best intentions for doing it.

The two girls arrived at the bathroom laughing a lot about how ridiculous it was to go through the crowd.

"So, Lisa you are from Portugal, right?" Lisa nodded "How about you Sophie?"

"I'm from Taiwan" she said still smiling.

"Don't you have someone waiting for you?" Lisa understood where she was getting with the conversation. Obviously not with a bad intention.

"Only my parents" she answered shyly.

"Not even your boyfriend? I mean don't get me wrong you are so lovely!"

"Thanks but no, I don't have a boyfriend... I mean, a year ago I was with someone for 8 years..." she trailed off.

Silence followed after these words. Lisa tried her best to continue.

"He died in a car crash... And I was there. There was nothing I could do. After a year I decided to come here to be part of a team of archaeologists. My best friend from Uni days is leading it, so he invited me. I came here to redo what I stopped doing for being so depressed"

"I'm so sorry Lisa! So sorry!" Sophie regretted.

"Don't worry! I've moved on" she gave her a big smile.
