~Stephanie's pov~
After Ruel posted his photo, i pull out my phone and make him take a million selfies.
"Why do you take so many?" He asks scrolling through the photos.
"Gotta make sure I look good in one" I say shrugging.
"You look good all the time" he says looking confused.
"Pfft you're my boyfriend, you have to say that" I say giving him an eye roll.
"Umm no I don't and even if I did I wouldn't be lying, I'm totally punching above my weight with you. Look at you, you're like an angel."
A blush spreads across my cheeks.
"You're kind to me" I say leaning in and giving him a cuddle.
"Not kind, just honest" he says kissing my cheek
"Also you're not punching above you're weight, literally every girl at our school stares at you constantly." I say stroking his face.
"You're kind to me" he says
"Not kind, just honest" I say repeating his words.

All of a sudden Ruel gets up and pulls off his shirt.
"What are you doing?" I say trying to pull my eyes away.
"Im going for a swim, now if you're done staring you're welcome to join." He says starting to walk down to the water.
I look down at my dress and thank myself for wearing matching underwear. I pull off my dress, leaving me in just my bra and panties. I've always had naturally large boobs, and although it may sound nice, I've had back pain since it was about 12.

I begin to walk down to the water. Ruel is already immersed in the water as I dip my feet in on the shore. Ruel turns around and sees me standing there. My long dark hair windswept and my navy bra and panties contrast against my pale skin. I realise that this is the perfect time to make fun of Ruel as he is staring at me with every mite of his being.
"Now if you have finished staring I would like to join you" I say walking into the water.
Ruel shakes his head and laughs and I swim out to him. A couple of seconds later, I reach his body. His hand wrap around my waist as my legs wrap around his.

We sit there and sway in the water. The sound of the wind gracing us.
"Stephie?" Ruel says as he breaks the silence
"Yeah?" I say looking back at him
"You're my best friend" he says looking into my green eyes. My heart swells. This beautiful boy in front of me thinks I'm his best friend. A small smile burns into my face.
"Ruel?" I ask looking into his honey eyes.
"Yeah?" He responds
"You're my best friend" I say almost whispering.
"Yeah?" He asks with a smile on his face.
"Yeah." I say nodding my head lightly.

Ruel pulls me in to kiss him. His lips are so soft, he must use chapstick or something. The beach breeze fills our senses as we kiss. We pull away and I rest my nose on his.
"I'm so happy you aren't friends with molly anymore" Ruel ways whispering.
I wait for him to continue.
"Otherwise you would have never have walked into that cafe and on the first day of school you would have been a complete stranger to me." He says, His breath still on mine.
"I'm happy I'm not a stranger to you" I say pulling back and pushing his hair out of his face.
"Me too, little one" he says kissing my nose.
"I'm not little" I say giggling
"Pfft yes you are, you're tiny" he grins
"I'm 5"10, that's very tall for a girl" I say fighting back.
"Yeh but I'm 6"4, so that's 6 inches taller than you, therefore you are little." He says as if he is giving a lecture.

"I don't like me tall" I frown looking down.
"Why? You're beautiful, like a model!" He says worriedly.
"Yeh but I dont have the fave of a model and I've always thought that being short is kinda cute for a girl" I say looking at he sunset.
"Okay, let me teach you something.
a) your fave is probably the prettiest thing I have ever laid eyes on. Like i want it to be the only thing I see ever, I want it as my phone background, I want it on my walls, heck of I could get your face on m bed sheets I would.
B) you are freaking adorable and you're my little one" he says Turing my fave back to him.
"You're too kind to me" i say giving him a quick kiss.
"Not kind just honest" he says pulling me in to kiss him one last time before drying off and going home.
