Sing to me

~Stephanie's pov~

It was the next day and I was getting ready for my date with Ruel. He had refused to tell me where we are going but told me to bring my swimmers. Since it's summer, swimming actually sounds really nice. I put on a black basic bikini and then put on short and tied my T-shirt up to make it into a crop top.

I put on my Birkenstock's even though Ruel always made fun of them and said they looked like 'Jesus sandals' and then brushed out my long hair. I grabbed a tote bag and put a towel and my phone in it before meeting Ruel outside.

"Hi baby" he says as I open the door.
"Heya handsome" I say pulling him into a hug.
The warmth of his body always filled apart of me I didn't know was empty.
I pulled back and looked up to his face.
"You look beautiful" he says leaning in for a kiss.
"Thank you" I say almost whispering

Ruel attaches his hand to mine before walking me over to his car. He opened up the door for me before running over to his own.  He hopped into the car before starting the ignition and turning on the radio. He hands me his phone to put on some music. I put in his passcode and then click onto Spotify and put on one of his playlists on shuffle. Never ever by the Rubens comes on and I smile as I hum along to the music. Ruels hand rests on my thigh as his others steers the car.

After about half an hour of driving, we reach the destination. It's literally in the middle of nowhere.
"Are you about to kidnap me?" I joke looking over at Ruel as I take in the scenery around us. A large Forrest is in front of us, with a small trail leading through the trees.
"Don't you think, that if I wanted to kidnap you, I would've done it by now?" He says getting out the car, signalling for me to follow.

I get out of the car and walk to Ruel before connecting my hand with his. He leads me through the Forrest, past the trees,
Where silence infilled us.
After walking for a couple minutes I start to hear the flowing of water,  next thing I know, I'm standing in front of a beautiful waterfall with a large lake underneath it.

"It's beautiful" I say looking over at Ruel
"Hmmm I am pretty beautiful aren't I " he laughs bringing me into a hug.
I giggle with him before lining forward to give him a kiss.
" you're not pretty beautiful your very beautiful" I say connecting our lips once again.

"Where did you find this place?" I say looking over at Ruel.
"I have my ways" he says looking At  the deserted body of water.
"I love it" I say leaning into his aside
"I love you" he relo lies pulling me tighter.

I decide to sit down on the Rock and dangle my feet off the edge. Ruel sits down and joins me before pulling some food out of his backpack.
He brought all my favourites, TimTams, Pringle's and kiwi fruit.
" awww you're so cute" I say kissing his cheek
"I sure am, I even bought your stupid kiwi fruit" he says holding up the furry fruit.
"Hey, don't call it stupid, it's yummy" I say snatching the fruit from his hand.

After snacking for a while I decide it's time to swim. I pull off my top before taking off my shorts leaving me in just my bikini. My pale skin contrasts against the black of my swimmers. I look over at Ruel to see him staring at me intensely, food still in his mouth.
"Are you coming?" I say laughing at him
"Yep" he says quickly pulling off his shirt.

His hand connects to mine as we walk towards the water. Suddenly ruels hand disconnects from mine as he walks in the opposite direction.
"Where are you going?" I say with a confused expression.
"To the water" he says before jumping off the rock and into the lake.
I scream and then laugh as his head appears from the water.
"Are you coming?" He yells up at me.
" I think I'm going to walk down" I say looking at how high the rock is.
"Common, this will be way faster" he replies.
I look at the cliff and then look at Ruel. His smile was enough to make me do anything no matter how stupid.

Next thing I know I'm jumping off the rock and into the water. My head bops from under the icy water as I see ruel only a metre away from me.
" oh my god that was so fun" I say as I swim into his arms.
My legs wrap around his torso as his arm rest on my bum.
"I'm glad you had fun" he says with his hair pushed back.
