~Stephanie's pov~
It's been a couple weeks since school started again and it already feels like we've been there for eternity.
Every day, it seems Ruel is growing more and more famous and I couldn't be more proud.

Tonight Ruel has a small gig in town to show off his new songs. He hasn't let me listen to any of them yet as he wants them to be a surprise.

It's currently 5pm and the gig starts at 6:30pm so I decide to get ready now as Ruel left an hour ago to get his stuff set up.

I walk over to my wardrobe and slip on a tight fitting red velvet mini dress. I match the dress with some heels and walk to the bathroom to do my hair. I just straighten my long hair before putting on some makeup.

~
It's 6:33pm and I'm running late to Ruels show. My train was delayed and now I'm running in heels from the train station to the venue.

I finally make it in and I walk into a dark room filled with people obviously waiting for Ruel to come on stage.
As I wait to see him come on stage, a few of the fans around me recognised me as Ruels girlfriend and asked for a photo which is surreal to say the least.

Suddenly blue lights turn on and a spotlight is centre stage. Ruel walks on stage and the crowd screams for him. There must be at least 200 people here.

His eye search around the room until they land on me. He mouths "you look beautiful" and I blush.

"Hi" he says into the microphone.
"Um I'm going to play a few songs for you tonight. The first song is one that I was lucky enough to have blow up over the summer so this is stay" he smiles nervously.

He strums then guitar and sings his song , this time not only to me but to a crowd of people loving his music.

When stay finished, the crowd went crazy.
"Wow, um thanks so I have a couple other songs to play and this is a new one that I wrote called dazed and confuzed and it's about someone in this very room" he smiles and connects his eyes with mine.

"You came in swinging like Apollo
I'll be feelin' it tomorrow
No, I ain't seein' straight, hyperventilate
Knees begin to wobble
You cut my brakes and hit the throttle
I couldn't stop it if I wanted
Just your silhouette, makes me break a sweat
I'm in trouble" he sing never once losing eye contact with me.

"Oh, I've been dazed and confused
From the day I met you
Yeah, I lost my head
And I'd do it again" he smiles breaking into the chorus.

"Something 'bout your eyes
I can't even walk in a straight line
Under the influence"

I feel so happy hearing him sing, he looks so natural and is having fun.

Once the song finishes I scream with the re at of the crowd. I'm so lucky to have him.

"Okay so the last original I'm going to sing tonight is called don't tell me but I'll do some more covers after"

"Save your breath, my brother, it's not going in
I'm not your disciple, I choose how I sin
I've got a distant memory of previous lives
So don't say I'm not ready, back off with those knives"

The lyrics fall out of his mouth like poetry, the room filled with smoke, sweat and music.

"You don't know me like you used to
You can leave, but I refuse to
You can tell me that I'm crazy
But I won't stop and this won't make me"

As the beat drops he does this cute little dance on stage.

"Uh uh uh
Ooh, oh-oh-oh, don't tell me I'm not ready
Uh uh uh
Ooh, oh-oh-oh, don't tell me I'm not ready for love
For love" he finishes the song.

The crowd screams and in this moment of happiness I realise how lucky I am to be able to go home with him every night.

Ruel finishes off the night with a couple of covers and I dance the night away till it's time to go home.

"What did you think?" Ruel asks excitedly as he walks out of the dressing room.

"It was incredible" i grin jumping into his arms.
He runs his hands along the velvet of my dress.

"You look so pretty" he smiles leaning in to kiss me. Our lips connect and move together until I pull back.

"I'm so proud of you" I giggle as he continues to hold me close.

"I'm a very lucky boy" he smiles caressing my back.

"I'm a very lucky girl, who had the most beautiful boyfriend who is a very talented singer" I smile

"Well I am very lucky to have a muse like you" he smiles and leans in to peck my nose.

I close my eyes and lay my head in his neck as we hug.

"Common let's go home" Ruel says pulling away after a minute.

He wraps his arm around me as we walk back to the train station.
