It was a normal day in the Mindspace for Jax and Erin, them both doing their job while Taylor was fronting and playing outside with their friends.
That's when Erin noticed a door that wasn't there yesterday. She studied the chipped black paint and then tried to open it to no avail. That's when it happened. All of a sudden, the boy who had been teasing Taylor was on the ground and being beaten half to death. Just this sight struck fear through the analogical and the parent alters. A while later, they found a boy they didn't recognize in the Mindspace. He looked like a teenage runaway mixed with emo nightmare.
He shook his head and ran a hand through his hair and muttering something to himself before he noticed the other two staring and watching his every move. He glared at them and finally broke the uncomfortable silence, "The hell are ya staring at?!". He seemed just as Aggressive and angry as when he was fronting, but he also seemed scared. Jumping at every sudden noise.
The elder alters looked at each other to try and decide how to deal with this. It stayed silent for a few more uncomfortable moments before Erin cleared her throat, " Uhm... Hello? What's your name?" The shorter male had seemed to calm down a bit as he lit a cigarette. "Alec." Jax looked up at the unusual name and didn't understand why his heart picked up speed as he felt a faint heat come onto his face. He finally regained his monotone voice, "I presume you're the new alter?" He didn't know why he asked the question, he knew the answer. Of course he was a new alter, why else would he be here? But much to his surprise, the boy only responded with a bite of sarcasm. "Um, duh, 4 eyes." Why did he call him 4 eyes? To his knowledge he only had 2... "4 eyes?" "Did I misspeak?" "No." "Good. That's what I thought." Alec glanced around the room cause he couldn't stand to be in a new place. He jumped when he heard Erin's sweet voice, " Well, I'm Erin. And this is Jaxon. "  He didn't mean to snap at her but he couldn't exactly help it. "I didn't ask, but ok I guess. " "Ya know, you're being a little rude." Alec found her statement of the Obvious amusing but he shrugged it off pretending not to care. " So?" Anyone could see that Erin was getting irritated with his attitude so Jax decided to at least try to calm her. " Erin, I'm sure he's just nervous about being in a new place. He did just get here after all. " When Erin let out a sigh, he knew he had succeeded. " Hmm... I guess..." When they had turned to look at the Alec boy, he was no longer standing there. They started to look around for him until the silence was broken with a door slamming upstairs. Erin had sighed and headed into the kitchen to start dinner with a mutter, " Nevermind. Rude." While Jax was curious about the new alter and decided the best thing to do would be investigate. So that's what he did. The next thing he knew, he was knocking on the black, chipped door.
